Could do better on not dragging bags across the driveway my wife is the one that’s taking our trash out because of my disability so I know it could not be too heavy for the guys to carry it that far !

Really Oak Hill Garbage??? You promise after not picking up last week, that the trash will be picked up this week...but you only pick up the bags outside the cans and leave the oldest and nastiest garbage in the cans. When I call I get told that there is nothing they can do until the driver comes back in because she cannot get a hold of him? When I say that is unacceptable your girl starts talking over me. I complain, then you hang up? I call back and get a nicer girl who still won't promise me that it will be picked up! I ask to speak to a supervisor who was extremely rude and kept interrupting me and told me I was rude. He didn't see the problem with that trash sitting in the cans for a 3rd week! He hung up on me as I was cutting of service with them. After 40 years, you would think that it wouldn't be that difficult to just pick up all of our trash. I AM LIVID! This site won't let me post without a star review. I have to give it one star, but not happy about it.

Before you use Oak Hill Garbage consider this. After phoning in 6 complaints over the past year I told them that I wanted to speak with a supervisor or that I would cancel my service. A week goes by with no call and when collection day comes around my garbage was not collected so I phoned the office. I was told that the supervisor had told them to do as I asked and cancel my service do to him not having time to call me.



If you don't mind putting up with them driving their trucks in your yard, continuously throwing the lid to your garbage bin over an embankment, some times collecting your garbage and sometimes not, and the fact that they would rather cancel your service than to listen to your feedback, this is the service for you.



If you don't want to put up with nonsense then Use Fly By Night.

I like another reviewer had been with the company for YEARS. Also like the other reviewer, on occasion services were not delivered. The last time my garbage was set out and not picked up I called and was spoken to very rudely. I was told if I could produce a receipt from landfill they would consider a refund or non-charge for the week in question. Also said the driver had not indicated no pickup (I also felt as though they were calling me a liar). I'll gladly pay more elsewhere. Would not recommend to anyone!!

I have been a customer of Oak Hill Garbage for years, and had no problems until recently. The last time I paid my bill, I left my home for a month, when I came back, the trash I set out was still in the can. I called them and asked they why they had not picked up my trash, and they said they did. They said they did not have a note from the driver stating they did not pick it up. I told them I did not care what they did or did not have from the driver, my trash had not been picked up. They called me a liar, and would not listen to me at all. After that type of treatment I left them for BEckley Garbage. They are a bit more expensive, but I will not deal with those who will not deal with me.
