Overall

After a rocky start with them, I have to say, I am very happy with the results. The first day they never showed up. They didn't put us on the logs for some reason. The second day they came by and had it fixed within an hour. The reason they are still getting 5 stars is due to the techs service and taking the time to explain everything to me. He told me exactly what was wrong and gave me several options for remedying the situation. He even let me know that while we could replace the R22, we need to phase out using it in a few years. Over all, I am really happy with the speed of their service and for the technician taking the time to explain everything as well as going out of his way to make sure I also knew what is going to happen in the Future with the freon.

I was very satisfied with my Service experience with Sierra mechanical! The lady on the phone or very helpful with scheduling and answering my questions! Man came out and diagnosed the problem in a timely manner. He returned once our part came in an installed it quickly! I highly recommend them!

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. I have an AHS home warranty. They connected me with Sierra Mechanical to assess the problem with my unit. They came out, indicated I needed a new compressor. It took them several days to get the repair approved; another 1.5 weeks for the part to come in and once they had the part another 1.5 week to schedule the appointment. In total, I waited 3-4 weeks for the repair work to be completed. I called the day of my appointment at 8:07 am to confirm my appointment which they confirmed was from 8 am -12 pm. At 11:30 am, no call, no technician so I called them and they told me that they had left me a message yesterday indicating that their technician is out sick and they cancelled my appointment. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THIS COMPANY OR PURCHASE AN AHS HOME WARRANTY. The entire process is frustrating and not worth the headache, time and trouble you'll spend when you need a repair. Take the money and use it towards hiring a contractor of your choice.

the girl I spoke with was pleasant and got me scheduled in no time. When Dave arrived this morning, I explained the problem and symptoms and he had the issue resolved within 30 minutes. I would recommend Sierra based on this visit!

This company is a joke. Our home warranty company sent them out to repair our A/C. Understanding that it was on the holiday weekend I followed up Monday to get an appointment scheduled. Was happy they were able to come out the following day after the holiday. Unfortunately they had to "order" a new blower motor. This was Wednesday. The tech told my wife that the company they use did not have any in stock but it will only be a couple days. The following Monday I called to see if the part was in and was told that they had to reset their computer so she would call me back in 10 minutes to let me know. an hour and half later I called back since I have not heard anything. I ended up having to call their distributor myself to see if the part was in they happened to have over a dozen of them so I can only guess the tech lied about them not having any the 1st time he was out. I had to call them 8 times in one day to get an appointment to have it installed. Had to get the warranty company involved just to get definitive answers. This company is a joke and is probably only in business cause they are used by AHS. Total of 12 days without AC in 90+ degree weather absolutely ridiculous.
