Mid-America Peterbilt

As an owner operator, I have been doing business here for several years. I initially had great service here. Fast turn over on work performed, reasonable service bills for work performed, etc.

Over the last 18 months, i have had multiple work performed in this shop and was disappointed by the work. The turn over time, etc. 3 major repairs on the air conditioner back to back over the winter months (I mention this because it wasn't being used, just wanted it fixed) and NONE of it was covered under warranty (even though the symptoms were exactly the same.) To be completely fair and unbiased here they said it was different issues. And I can't prove them wrong.)

Different part pricing quotes more than once. Failed to hook up the cables to the alternator after the last service was performed. Seeing your mechanic on his cell phone, helping someone else, or joking around in the shop when its costing you 30 dollars every 15 minutes.

I had my truck repaired at the Peterbilt - O'Fallon, MO on 12-12-2010. It's one of a few dealerships in the country that are open on a weekend. They got me in a day ahead of the schedule, and had me back on the road the same day! I was very impressed by the professional and courteos attitude towards the customer. In 13 years of driving a semi, it's a first time I had such a positive experience at a repair facility! (Mike P. and Ken - THANK YOU!)
