Chiropractic Adjustments
Spinal joints that are locked, fixated or not moving correctly can affect your health by putting pressure on or choking the nerve tissue. Chiropractic adjustments add motion back to the area allowing restoration of the nerve flow so that proper healing can occur. There are many techniques used by a chiropractor to adjust the spine. Sometimes the doctor uses their hands to deliver a quick highly accurate force. Some doctors use an instrument to deliver the force into a fixated spinal joint. Most patients report a sense of well-being or calmness after an adjustment. Others feel improved mobility or less discomfort. Chiropractors are adept at making the adjustments comfortable and effective.
Nutritional Consultation
At our office, we believe that given the proper nutrition, your body has the amazing capability of keeping itself healthy. We also believe that nutrition should be individualized to meet each patients needs.
Subluxation
A subluxation occurs when a spinal vertebra shifts out of alignment, creating damaging pressure on the spinal nerves which can cause interruptions in the vital nerve flow within the body. More than just bones and nerves are involved in subluxations. Muscles that are too weak or too tight can affect nerve tissue. Discs, ligaments and other connective tissue can cause inflammation that can irritate delicate nerves. Bone spurs and arthritic degeneration can also affect the nerves. Subluxations create disharmony in your body, a precondition for sickness and diseases of all kinds.
Manipulation Therapy
Our mission at Bennett Chiropractic and Wellness Center is simply to serve you. We provide excellent chiropractic care to help our patients reach and exceed their health goals. We assess the patient as a whole. We want to address the main concern, but also lead you into a lifestyle of being pain free. We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.
Myofascial Therapy
Myofascial release is an intervention administered to various patients to alleviate pain or restrictive tissue problems. The release treatment usually involves the application of gentle or moderate pressure on the connective tissues and leads to relaxation and eventual elongation of the fascia therein. These restrictions are often caused by traumatic accidents or inflammations of the soft tissue. Some patients get them as an after-effect of surgery. They always result in muscular tension and spasm of sharp pain. They cannot be detected through standard diagnosis tests like the x-ray scan. It is essential for a patient to visit a doctor or physiotherapy expert once they notice restriction of movement in the hip area or shoulder. Painful backs can also be a sign of the restriction and can only be treated through the Myofascial Release procedures.
Flexion Distraction Therapy
Dr. Bennett completed her clinical internship at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Specializing in several chiropractic techniques, Dr. Bennett individualizes treatment plans utilizing Diversified, Activator, Thompson and Flexion-Distraction methods. She has also completed training as a certified Chiropractic Acupuncturist. She regularly attends training to stay current with advancements in chiropractic techniques and other health related matters. She is always excited to learn new things and bring them back to share with her patients.

Our goal is to help you receive the proper care after a personal injury, auto accident or fall. Our staff is devoted to helping you obtain the most comprehensive treatments and the care you deserve, so you may maintain your quality of life after an injury and can begin to feel like yourself again.
Acupuncture
I am pleased to be able to provide the same services we have in the past: Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture, Laser, Functional Medicine, etc. Debbie Grier LMT will be providing massage services, Janna Clark with Anchor Mind and Body will provide her services, and Finley is thrilled to be back to work as well. I also look forward to adding new services in the near future to provide you with the best care you deserve!
