The best price and best service in the city. I've been using them twice a year for three years now. Every time has been superb.

Great. I was wary because of the low price but their service was as good as any I've used. Professional and courteous. They also cleaned a chair beautifully for an excellent price. If my first experience is any indication, I'll be a customer for life.

I made an appointment with Houndstooth (whole house package for $99.95), but no one showed up. Was disappointed with the lack of reliability.

Far surpassed my expectations. I arranged to have my whole house cleaned and deodorized for an extremely low price. I wondered what to expect. I thought there would be some kind of hassle over the price. They honored their pricing and did a good job, even removing a couple of stains that I didn't expect to come up. My carpets look good, in time for the holidays.

I love Houndstooth. I've been using this company for years. I figured it's time I wrote a review on them. They've been around a long while and have always done me right with cleaning the carpets and upholstery. I've recommended them several times and my friends have also been real pleased.

Great price on that coupon if they had got the carpet clean. I don't know which Houndstooth business the guy was from--he "cleaned" my carpets in Henry County. But the coupon should have advertised for a "Quick Once-Over and Skip Some Areas Altogether"!

I hired houndstooth to clean all of the carpets in my parent's home yesterday. The man that did the work was quick, sloppy and unprofessional. I could have rented a cleaner and got better results. The rugs were soaking wet and not cleaned when the job was finished. I called to complain, and was offered another cleaning. But Houndstooth subcontracts their work and you have no idea who is coming into your home, which they fail to tell you when you schedule an appt.. So...I
Have to have the entire house cleaned again. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Call Stanley Steamer. They do not subcontract.

I would like to say the only reason I'm leaving this message is to save you the HEARTACHE!!!!! Here are the facts:1) The appt was not kept2) They were later for the rescheduled appt3) My wife and I really think the guy had a substance abuse issue.4) He was a constant ramble/babbler using inappropriate language.5) He lied******************************************************************now the good part******************************************************************6) After he was done with his smoke break he asked for a drink. I was standing in the kitchen and heard a loud crash! He shattered the glass table in my foyer!7) He was only concerned about me calling his company!8) The entire truth came out about his company.....pure foolishness!9) He's called 5 times since he's left to see if I was going to call the office.10) I got all my $$$ outta the guy and left him outside in the rain. I'm never dialing this Hounds Tooth's # again! I don't care enough to call. 11) I really hope someone reads this and decides not to use this place! You'll be sorry you didn't listen! I was thinking, "awwwwww they cant be that bad", trust me, THEY ARE!!!!!!!!

The service I received from Houndstooth Carpet was great. I was concerned because they use contractors but I couldn't have asked for better service. The service tech called to confirm the appointment and they arrived promptly as scheduled. They were very professional and courteous. The quality of work was excellent. There spots in the carpet that I did not think could be removed but they were completely taken care of. Just make sure you vacuum your carpets before their arrival.

I had set an appointment several weeks in advance for 9/21 between 8-10AM and had not received a call reminding me of my appointment, so based on the reviews I was skeptical that they would even show up. I got up early that morning to call them at 8 AM, because I had things to do and was not going to be able to have my fiance' sit there all day. To my surprise at 8:02 AM I got a call from the technician saying that he was on his way & he just needed to be sure of how to get my home. He finally got to my home and I explained the areas that he needs to pay more attention to & how I would like for him to take his time in order to do a good job...and A GOOD JOB HE DID! I do believe that the company needs to re-evaluate they're using outside contractors, but the person that came to my home was EXCELLENT and so was the COST!

FIRST OF ALL WHEN YOU SCHEDULE A APPT. IT SHOULD BE KEEP, I RECIEVED A NO CALL, NO SHOW AFTER THEY SAID A TECH IS ON THE WAY. AFTER CALLING THERE PHONE WENT STRIAGHT TO VOICE MAIL. TRY USING A GOOD COMPANY THAT HAS EMPLOYEES NOT SUB-CONTRACTORS. ALSO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE TRUCK MOUNT CLEANERS NOT THE LITTLE CLEANERS YOU CAN RENT YOURSELF FROM HOME DEPOT.

I have read the reviews about how this company did not have any respect for time, but thought I give it a shot. I took the day off and waited through my scheduled time, 8am-11am, for this company to show up, but NO SHOW!



I called around 12pm, and the service rep said that they would come at 2pm. At 2:30 PM I get a call from the technician telling me in broken English that his car broke down and he can't be sure of what time he would make it to my house. Looks like it's time for them to get a new fleet of vehicles since it happens so frequently to them (read other reviews).



Even the pricing information on their website is conflicting. On the main page it says one price, and on the other pages it says a different price.



This company is so ignorant of people's time!!

My husband and I was thinking about replacing our carpet but thanks to the exceptional job performed by the Carpet Technician our carpet looks brand new. Now, no one will ever know that we have a 2 year old in the house.

now. They always do a good job and their prices are extremely low compared to other companies I've called. I wouldn't call anyone else!

I've been using them for years, and never had a problem. Their guys are always courteous, prompt and professional and do a fantastic job. And their prices are the best I've seen for companies that don't bait & switch.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for some companies to take the customer's time into consideration as being valuable. I called to find out why the technician hadn't arrived at the scheduled time and the office personnel said that someone would call me back. 30 minutes later, I finally hear from the tech who stated that one of the trucks broke down and there was a backlog of appointments. He said I could expect him in 3 to 3 1/2 hours. But of course after that amount of time elapsed, I'm still walking on dirty carpets. I finally called and told them to forget the whole thing and was told that the tech said I had re-scheduled for the following day!! That was the biggest lie because I told the tech I had moved all of my furniture and needed him to arrive on the original scheduled day!!! Meanwhile, I've wasted an entire day waiting, and I still need my carpets steam cleaned before my company arrives. Houndstooth is HORRIBLE!!!! How could they possibly claim to have "satisfied customers"?????

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not keep appointments. There technicians do not call to confirm, cancel, or reschedule. They just don't show up. If there customer service is no good, there cleaning cannot be any better. They are horrible.
