I ordered tires and rims for my truck thru Tire Rack and had them sent to Goodyear of Niceville so they could do the install. I made the appointment which was going to be 3 days later and when I got there and dropped it off and went home, about an hour later Goodyear calls me and tells me they can't do the install because they would possibly scratch my aftermarket rims because there machinery is not up to date. With that comment left me wondering, does that mean they scratch everybody's rims when they do a mount and balance!?! In my opinion there was a loss of professionalism not telling me this before I arrived for my appointment. They had the tire and rims for 3 days and one would think that a simple assessment would have been done to let the customer know. I was born and raised in Niceville and have seen the Goodyear tire store have different ownerships thru the years and it's unfortunate that the quality has diminished to where the customer is not top priority anymore.

STAY AWAY. Took my car their years ago for basic tune up and change timing belt. Car ran worse than ever. After hundreds of dollars fixing vacuum lines in Destin's GY shop and almost a fight with the manger over in Destin, still had the problem, but not as bad. Took car to DEALERSHIP SHOP and found that GY put the timing belt on wrong and damaged a part while they were turning up my car. DEALERSHIP SHOP fixed the problem!!!!!! Wrote Goodyear and Owner of Niceville & Destin Shops. NO HELP WHAT SO EVER.

I to have had a bad experience at Goodyear in Niceville! I had a leak in my rear main seal, something I couldn't do at home. So I take my truck in to Goodyear and they say they'll fix it. Couple hours later I get a call, your truck is ready! I go to pick up my truck and pay. The guy at the counter told me good thing is, it wasn't your rear main seal, it was your oil pan gasket!!!! He hands me the bill 435.00 to change a gasket on an oil pan! First without calling me and asking me if I wanted them to fix that!! Heck no I can buy a gasket for 20 bucks and drop 6 bolts and do it my self. I was outraged 435.00 to change a gasket.... They wouldn't put the old one back on and pretty much said you pay or your not getting your truck! SO, I pay and take my truck home and long and behold it still is leaking oil. I call goodyear and tell them and they say bring back up here. I take it back and they say well yeah your rear main seal is leaking!!!! WTF I already knew that... They are the worst company to take your vehicle to in NICEVILLE, FL. They wouldn't fix their screw up and really was trying to get over on me!! Thanks GOODYEAR I hope no one goes to your Niceville store! Thanks and hope I can save someone from getting screwed over!

I bought two tires online and ...

I bought two tires online and brought them in for mounting and balancing. Goodyear is a partner of the online company for installations. The receptionist at first indicated that they would not handle tires purchased elsewhere "because we only keep a small number of parts on hand", but then upon learning where I had bought them, she asked for the receipt for the online purchase. I could not believe it! I had to drive back home to print a copy off of my computer (no, they could not help me with this at the store).

So I left the vehicle. Two hours later I get a call. They tell me that they will not mount my tires because they do not have the manufacturer's recommended speed rating--this despite the fact that the replacement tires are identical to the ones that came with vehicle new from the dealer's lot.

So I picked up my vehicle and drove to Walmart where I received excellent service with a smile, at 2/3 the price.

Never again will I visit Goodyear Auto Service Center.
