Mariners Elementary School is governed by the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. The school, located in Newport Beach, Calif., offers educational services to more than 650 students in kindergarten through sixth grades. It offers various subjects and a range of services, including more than 25 classrooms, a science lab, computer center, library and resource learning facility. The school s reading resource teacher works with primary students requiring intensive phonemic instruction. It also offers several computer-based reading and math programs. Mariners Elementary School s library is stocked with a wide range of reading materials and offers an apple book program. Its parent-teacher association organizes several enrichment programs, such as primary physical education, science center, art master, music appreciation and computer technicians programs.
