Richard N Whitney In my opinion should have his License to practice revoked.

I was a patient at Licking Memorial Hospital suffering from Profuse GI bleeding. Due to cirrhosis of the liver.

I was heavily sedated at the time so he did not interview me. He did interview my girlfriend.

In his report he stated that I was an alcoholic,that I drank a 6 pack an up to a 12 pack of beer a day I had lost numerous jobs due to drinking, that I was a 42 year old male. And that I was abusive to my Girl friend.



HIS RECOMMENDATIONS WHERE.

1 Continue IV Protocol

2 Continue Thiamine

3 Follow-up upon discharge at Shepherds Hill for treatment of alcohol.



Nothing that he stated was true.... I was a 57 year old man at the time not 42. he didn't even bother to look at my date of birth which was on file. I Have never Lost a Job in my life due to drinking. I have never been abusive to my girl friend. When I asked my Girl friend about the conversation she had with Him, she told me nothing he wrote in his report were things that she said. I guess he assumed that because I had cirrhosis of the liver I was just another Alcoholic not knowing the reason for my cirrhosis was that I had Hepatitis C.

This report he made is on record at the hospital I only just found out about it. If I had known about it at the time this happened I would have sued him. Is this how Shepherds Hill gets Patients.
