Academy of Dog Training and Agility

Love it! Trainers are all certified, patient, and knowledgeable, and the classes are fun and interesting. It's great to watch my dog think and learn. Training here inspired me to become a professional dog trainer!!!

The facility is clean and spacious. The classes build on each other week to week. The instructors are very helpful and make sure you know what you are doing before you move on. They teach you to train your dog, so that the dog obeys you and not someone else. Working in the group classes gives your dog socialization skills that you can not get on your own. Always amazing how a dog will do something for you at home, then not be able to do it at all until they are comfortable with a different environment. This is another very important aspect of these classes. I have been going here for many years and can not think of a better place. I grew up with dogs all my life and trained several on my own long before finding the Academy. Then my wife wanted to train one of her dogs without my help, reluctantly I came to support her efforts, and found that they really are doing it right! You will not only be doing yourself a big favor by taking these classes, but your dog will love you for it!

Fantastic facility and instructors! I have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about. There is no speaker system. Classes are all of a manageable size. My youngster and dog have been taking classes here for about a year. They have made incredible progress and we plan on staying with this program for as long as we can.

really over crowed and loud using a speaker system that echoed off the walls. Gave the basics in obedience with clicker. quit the class. couldn't go to any other class bc of my schedule so paid 20 more for 4 private lessons. Terrible. Went over the same thing each week. Forgot i was coming once . I learned some things but felt very stressed and pressured.
