Jefferson Bank New Braunfels

The beef enchilada dinner and queso have great flavor. I will order this again. After so many dinners at the San Marcos location, it is quite a change in ambiance to visit the New Braunfels location. However, the taste of the food is the same in both locations.

If you are expecting bad service and no hospitality then go eat here. It took forever to get a drink and the food was not even good enough to say any thing good about it, so if you want bad food and bad service eat at Hebert's Taco Hut

It's true that when Herbert's first opened the service was in desperate need of help. But if you have ever eaten at the Herbert's in San Marcos, you know that they definitely don't have that problem. The New Braunfels location had such poor service when it first opened because they were bombarded with more customers than they expected from the get-go because most people have heard about how great the food is based on the one in San Marcos. Give this place a chance to work out all it's kinks, and it will be the best Mexican food restaurant in town...service and all.

The food here is good, but don't come here unless you are planning on waiting at least 45 minutes for your food, or even more. It was at least 15 minutes before someone came to ask what we wanted for drinks, but that wasn't even our waiter. We never got a real waiter, but just some bus boy walking around and cleaning.
