Brake Check

My wife brought her 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Longhorn in for an oil change. When she handed the tech her keys the A/C worked. After the oil change was done she got in the truck and the A/C was just blowing hot air. Not thinking it could have been damaged by a simple oil change, my wife call for an appointment at Christian Brothers. They could get her in until after the Memorial Day Holiday. The truck was already scheduled that Tuesday to get new shocks at another automotive shop. I asked if they could check out the A/C. They found that the wiring harness to the Compressor had it's wire pulled out. This harness was locate within inches of the oil filter. Break Check would not take responsibility for the damage. I was even willing to let them repair it themselves. I was forced to bring the truck to BlueBonnet Motors. They found that the new harness that Break Check put was not installed properly. The total cost was $420. I called Break Check with the total and looks like I will be forced to take them to court. I will be adding the court costs and loss wages. We will not be bringing any of our cars back to Break Check. If anybody ask me for a recommendation it will not be Break Check! BEWARE!

My wife went into this break check befor i met her and they charged her over 800 dollars for brakes and roters the front brakes lasted 16000 miles and the back lasted 25000 so when i called them and tried to talk to them cause ive been in the car business for 30 years they asured me they use top parts and it had to do with the way my wife drives so i went to auto zone and bought the cheapest brakes they had and theyve lasted her 80000 miles and could go another 20 or 30000 so i took my roters to get them turned and i was told they was not enough to be turned and since brake said they put new roters on there and theyve never been turned that tells me they charged her over 800 dollars and used her old parts so men and women be aware cause yes didnt have anyone in her life that knew about cars and they really took her for a ride there first class crookes
