Demolition
Downtown Joplin is home to the historic Gryphon Building. Itâ€™s also where engineering firm Olsson has their office spaces which we had the pleasure of renovating. As their general contractor of choice, we gladly undertook refurbishing and remodeling the 14,500-square-foot workplace beginning with partial demolition. We focused our attention on setting up new walls and complementing the design with avant-garde doors, flattering ceilings, and exquisite finishes.Â

Landscaping and Fencing

Excavation
An underground utilities, plumbing specialist is responsible for the excavation, installation, and (or) maintenance of water main and service lines. We are looking to fill multiple positions on this crew requiring varying levels of related knowledge: from general labor to pipe-fitter, to the equipment operator. Excavation may be accomplished using a backhoe, mini-excavator or by utilizing hand tools. Knowledge of piping and associated fittings and water meters is essential.

Gutters
A Concrete Finisher places and finishes surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; use saws to cut expansion joints. This job is responsible for aligning and producing concrete forms, monitoring environmental variables, and maintaining company-owned materials.

Carpentry
Jerel started at Branco in 1992 after graduating from Neosho High School and immediately entered our Carpentry Apprenticeship Program. After graduating from the program, Jerel managed small projects and held various positions in the company. Jerel was the Project Superintendent on several of our larger projects, including the construction of a new junior high for the Neosho School District. Jerel was promoted to the role of General Superintendent in October of 2020. He is responsible for all project superintendents and provides field support, assists with Quality Control checks on projects, schedule updates, accident and incident reports, timesheets, field issues or changes, and other site activities as needed. Jerel has experience in virtually all areas of construction, specifically educational projects within the last five years. He develops excellent relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors. He will work closely with the Estimating Team during the Design Phase to evaluate the constructability of the design and assist with Value Engineering exercises. He brings valuable knowledge and experience to every job.
