Weed Man

Weedman Lawncare makes promises in their sales pitch that they guarantee their services. If we have a problem with weeds after the treatment to just give them a call and they will send someone out right away to administer additional treatments. Well we had a weed and crabgrass treatment administered by Weedman supposedly.The treatment did nothing!! When we called to question the company about this and suggested that the treatment was not actually performed Jen from Weedman got very nasty. Jen had a lot of excuses as to why the weeds may not have been dying and set up for another spot treatment 7-10 days. No one showed up so we called because our lawn was getting further and further out of control. She added us to the schedule in two more days. This is now a total of 12 days of nothing being done. Her excuses included, the guys are hot and tired, we are closing early due to the heat, the weeds will die on their own in the winter and then treatments can be used to prevent them from coming back. This is ridiculous!!! Does this mean we aren't tired from our jobs? We stay at work and make sure the job is done before we leave. Also, when we applied our own weed killer the weeds began dying!! There is no way the last treatment was actually applied and since the guys are so tired, I guess just writing paperwork saying the job is done is easier than doing the job. We have since cancelled services and were promised a reimbursement check for the remaining services that were supposed to be completed, but the check has yet to arrive. When we called to question this, the company stated the owner was on vacation and it was now being processed. We should expect a check in yet another week... I guess looking at their track record for promises and deadlines, we should not hold our breath waiting! we should be receiving and additional refund for the last treatment they say was put down and we know was not but they are not willing to refund that. Nor were they willing to try to do anything to satisfy us when we complained. Instead, Jen gave my wife an attitude stating "we can hash this out all day but it won't change anything" and just put us on their schedule (again) since they did not make it the last time we had been scheduled for the spot treatment to help fix the mess they have already made to our lawn. Then they decided to only refund the upcoming services we had not used even though they should include the last service that was not really completed just on paper not in actuality. This is ridiculous! Unprofessional, unreasonable, and no sense of common courtesy! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!
