The Lint Buster

My wife and I had been having problems with our dryer for a while. We frequently had to dry things 3-4 times and were having a problem with what we thought was a water leak coming from our roof cap. My wife called Mr. Williams and he was at our house within 30 minutes. He quickly assessed the problem and told us our dryer duct was blocked with lint and debris. He also suggested a new roof cap although he did not believe it was leaking. He stated the water was coming from condensation from the wet clothes ans the fact that the vent was not working properly due to the blockage. Within in a short period of time he cleaned the duct work and installed a new roof cap. His estimate was extremely reasonalbe and after looking at the blockage in the duct I believe he prevented us from having a fire. Mr. Williams was courteous and very knowledgeable. He even called back the next day to check on things. You don't find customer service like that anymore, we will have him come out every year.

My dryer has been taking longer and longer to dry. Finally, all heat stopped so I called the repair man who came and said it was a bad fuse. That replaced, the dryer still took 2+ cycles and got to the point where doing laundry was a truly painful experience based on the time it took. Called back the appliance repair guy and he suggested it could be a vent issue. When I disconnected the dryer from the vent, it dried fine and actually got really hot, so I called Lint Buster based on the reviews I read here. He came the same day, was exceptionally courteous, very meticulous and cleaned my vent - which goes under my home with all kinds of twists and curves. My clothes are dry in one cycle flat and I just feel giddy with all the laundry I can get done in a day! Thanks so much, and I typically do not do online ratings but wanted to add mine based on the fact I went off of the recommendations of others. Top notch service that is affordable as well.

After reading an article in the local paper in December about Mr. Williams, I saved the article thinking one day I might use him. Well, one day was well over due. When my dryer was not drying adequately, and using about 3-4 cycles to complete the job, I knew it was time for a 'clean out'. Mr. Williams was very ready with my appointment and once there, found a load of trouble. I was literally living on borrowed time. Thanks to Mr. Williams and his skills, I am safer and happy to say that the drying is completing the job in one cycle, as it should. Mr. Williams suggested replacement of my vent cap, that we found on the roof. Once the old cap was removed, the lint and buildup over 5+ years worth was pouring out and, to me, resembled a hornets nest. Mr. Williams was completely through in his job and made execellent recommendations. I am glad Mr. Williams was pleasant, funny and just down right good to work with. Ralph Williams (the owner/service tech) was exceptionally professional, knowledgable about the products and field, thorough with his work and very informative. I was never left in the dark about what he was doing to my home. He even let me hold the flashlight and showed me the damage myself and stated what needed to be done and the extent of the damages and the reasons why it happened and so forth. He was very courteous the entire time and I felt completely comfortable and safe alone with him and my 1 year old child. As a woman this is very important to me that I feel the security while a stranger is working on my home. He seems to be a very family oriented man as he boasted of his grandchilden and wife, which is always a quality I look for in small companies in order to due future business with and refer my family and friends to. He fixed my problem quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after himself, and even ran to the store to get parts for me. Most of all, HE WAS AFFORDABLE!!!!! I was quoted well over 250 dollars by another company who didn't even offer to come take a look first. I ended up paying just a little over 1/3rd of that other quote. He informed me of problems with my dryer which could effect my energy savings which is great because he didn't work on my dryer at all, he was just there to clean the vent and took the extra time to take a look around because he's complete and thorough about his work. I can not say enough. Great company, great owner, great technician. I will definitely recommend this to anyone. (btw, he was able to come out the same day!!!!!!!!)

Mr. Williams from The Lint Buster came to my house and cleaned my dryer ducts. My dryer is vented up to the attic and across the attic floor to the outside. When he called me up to the attic to see the vent, I was shocked. The vent was full of lint and was most certainly a fire hazard. Mr. Williams did a thorough job of cleaning the vents and when finished, left the laundry room in good condition. A couple weeks later, my connector in back of the dryer separated and the dryer was venting into the laundry room. When I called Mr. Williams, he was out the next day to fix it. I will most certainly recommend The Lint Buster to my friends and will call upon him again when my ducts need cleaning. Knowing that my ducts aren't full of lint and do not pose a fire hazard is a great feeling.

Lint Busters came to my house and did a fabulous job cleaning up my dryer and vents. I have an old house with a metal vent installed by my father that just vented into a cheesecloth bag. He cleaned every pipe. Also cleaned the dryer itself. I could not believe the amount of lint refuse that came out of this old vent. Then he went back and reinforced the supports for my fathers old metal vent system. Very, very well done. Would call him again in a minute.
