The Assessment Company is an environmental consulting firm based out of Austin, Texas. Providing services through out the country, our specialties include project coordination, asbestos management, mold consulting, indoor air quality, as well as commercial & residential real estate inspections. We also provide an array of other services. The Assessment Company will assess and mitigate your environmental problems. We are committed to identifying problems and finding solutions. Mold consulting: The Assessment Company is a full service mold consulting firm. We provide professional service to assess and/or mitigate your mold problems in the most cost efficient and timely manner while ensuring the safety of all parties involved. Mold inspection / assessment: Working within the confines of budget restraints, our initial mold assessment is designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. A standard mold assessment consists of (1) a visual inspection of a property to determine locations of mold growth, (2) fungal surface and air sampling to determine the extent of mold growth, (3) source identification (4) source mitigation strategies, and (5) assessment of applicable state regulations.

Asbestos Project Design: While The Assessment Company is not a consulting agency and does not design projects, we (with over 20 years experience) work closely with asbestos consultants who can provide such services. We will handle coordination, consulting, and asbestos project management activities. We will take care of all bid solicitation. We will handle your project from start to completion while keeping our clients well informed of financial considerations and the status of all ongoing projects. Asbestos Project Management / Asbestos Air Monitoring: During all asbestos abatement projects, licensed Asbestos Project Managers are required to be on site to monitor the airborne asbestos and employee exposure. The Assessment Company is available for sub-contracted Asbestos Project Management / Air Monitoring. Home Inspections / Real Estate Inspections: Home inspections are a very important step in the home buying process. The Assessment Company provides thorough home inspections for both buyers and sellers. The home inspection is a detailed look at the home's most important systems including foundation and drainage, roof structure, roof coverings, and attic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The home inspection further analyzes other aspects of the home. As a bonus for using us, a free visual mold inspection is included with all residential homes.

Commercial Inspections / Property Inspections: The commercial inspection is a detailed look at the commercial building's most important systems including foundation and drainage, roof structure, roof coverings, and attic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The commercial inspection further analyzes other aspects of the buildings. We will custom tailor your commercial inspection to meet your specific needs. We can limit the inspection to any one system of the building or conduct a complete inspection. In an effort to minimize the number separate companies being utilized during the commercial property transaction process, we can sub-contract. Indoor Air Quality: We are a full service indoor air quality testing and consulting firm with the ability to test for any constituent of concern including mold, asbestos, radon, formaldehyde, VOC's and semi-VOC's. Project Coordination / Oversight: In some cases, the amount of environmental studies and abatements that have to be conducted can be a bit overwhelming. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Property condition Assessment (PCA), Asbestos Survey, Mechanical Engineering Study, Electrical Engineering Study, Structural Engineering Study, Civil Engineering Study, Health and Safety Audits, Mold Assessments, Lead Survey, Asbestos Abatement, Mold Remediations, and so on...We have strong relationships with professionals in all fields.
