ServiceMaster of Spartanburg

We had a toilet leak in our upstairs Bathroom. What a mess! Our insurance company recommended ServiceMaster of Spartanburg and they were fantastic! Their workers showed promptly and handled the damage in a professional manner. They set up drying equipment and checked on the job every day. Once it was dry they even handled the repairs! Highly recommended.

First thing make sure you insurance says they are a vendor if not you will be screwed. Our insurance was not a vendor so they only paid what they allowed not service master. Service master came out gave us an estimate of 3511.00 told us it should take 4 days they were here 10 days. Everyday it was something different they said they put stuff under the house and when my husband ask about it the guy told him there was no outlet was afraid to under house ( the outlet is right in the door opening ) they came in and destroyed my house, scratched my dining room table where left their tools, the corners of the walls where the metal is at bottom of corners everyone was bent and sheet rock was torn to pieces. They took 90 days to send an invoice which was 8600.00. The insurance adjuster tried to get us more money but management told him they weren't a vendor so they couldn't help us ( I have documentation) NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE AND WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T SIGN ANY PAPERWORK.

I had a house fire and the insurance adjuster called these people out. What an ordeal. Between the insurance company's treatment of me and Service Master's many issues I'm lucky I still have any hair on my head at all. I can't go into great detail here as there's too much to say. Suffice it to say though, things would be a lot different had I known what I now know. I can tell you that organization and planning does not seem to be one of their strong points. I also think they take on too much work for the manpower they have available, which causes problems trying to keep up with jobs in progress. Some of the people seem pleasant and caring about the job they do. I think they stay stressed out quite a lot of the time. Many are young and seem to want to clown around and waste time more than anything else. At the end I spoke to the owner about some concerns I had and he seemed to have somewhat of an attitude. Sorry to say that I can not recommend them.
