Mr. Redenbacher has significant experience in the litigation of major personal injury claims. Mr. Redenbacher tries cases for wrongful death, loss of limb, accidental maiming, paralysis, and other like tragedies, some of which cases he has settled suits for sums in excess of $1,000,000.
Misdemeanors
The law allows a judge to assess penalties of three times the value of each tree that one cuts down on a neighbor’s property (it can also be a criminal misdemeanor). Since each mature redwood tree is worth many thousands of dollars, the neighbor was looking at a hit of tens of thousands of dollars; perhaps in excess of $100,000. It didn’t go to court, but the neighbor’s fit of pique still ended up costing him many thousands of dollars as he paid for large, expensive box trees to replace my client’s lost trees.
Identity Theft
Admittedly, these devices make getting new credit somewhat inconvenient, but despite the occasional determined thief, they remain exceptionally good weapons in preventing losses due to identity theft.

Property Damage
In the broadest terms, civil court cases are all court cases that do not involve a violation of criminal law. When one has been injured, financially or physically, he files his lawsuit, or "action," in civil court. One can bring any such type of claim in a civil court, including, for example, claims for injuries stemming from breach of an agreement, dishonesty, fraud, unlawful acts, defective construction, wrongful termination, breach of a lease, property damage, etc. A civil case plaintiff may obtain both compensatory and punitive damages.
