        Since 1978, Rancho Santa Fe Security has been serving the community for San Diego and North County. The company was founded by Myron Mueller and is now run by his daughter, Denise Mueller. It is a family run company with and emphasize on hands on customer service and involvement. We have had our own patrol car business for over 20 years. Our patrol people are trained for armed response, and many of them have military or police background. Training is continuous and ongoing. Rancho Santa Fe Security is a full service security company. We do residential and commercial alarms, CCTV systems, fire, executive protection, (bodyguards), private investigations and more. Our community center is located at our facility in Encinitas and is manned 24/7, 365 days a year. All of our employees work for Rancho Santa Fe Security. We do not use subcontractors unless specified to do so. Our credo of " Total Security, Without Compromise" is not just words they are the way we do business.

        Warning to guard applicants 26 26....

        Warning to guard applicants……..if you get called for a job offer from this company “based on the terms discussed during your interview” be sure to review those terms during the call – particularly pay – before driving down to sign paperwork.



        I failed to do so – shame on me. I suppose that I’ve been lulled into complacency by virtue of the fact that I’ve always worked for large, reputable companies who wouldn’t risk their reputation with the type of slippery behavior I encountered with RSFPS. When the paperwork that contained the hourly wage was presented to me by the manager, the rate was 1 dollar less per hour than was represented as the bottom of the pay scale during my interview.



        I ended up working one weekend for RSFPS before encountering that ‘blinding flash of the obvious’ that informed me that a company that deals from the bottom of the deck right out of the gate isn’t a company that I can trust. I quit after those first two days.



        Lesson learned.
