Ant Control starts with a thorough inspection of the structure. Structures contain many favorable hiding and nesting sites for ants. Preferred sites include spaces behind walls, cabinets, and appliances; behind window and door frames; and beneath floors and concrete slabs. We'll find all the harborage areas that ants may favor.
Spiders
Scheduled repellent applications protect your home from spiders and other unwanted "guests". 95% of all pest problems come in from the outside of the home and stopping them before they come inside reduces spider problems in your living areas to near zero.
Termites
Termite Baits do kill termites. Depending on which data you choose to believe, they can kill termites in as little as 120 days or as long as years. But those stations are 10 to 20 feet apart, and rely solely on the termites natural instinct to randomly forage for food.
Bed Bugs
Thorough inspection is critical in bedbug control. Pronto technicians examine the premises to locate harborage areas where bedbugs breed, rest, and await their next meal.
Fleas
Fleas live for one purpose, to feed on the blood an unsuspecting host. If that host dies or is removed from the home, the adult fleas will actively seek a new host. Flea life cycles consist of four stages: egg, larva, pupae, and adult. Egg and pupal stages protect growing fleas from pesticides and their effect, making flea control a cooperative process with the homeowner and their Pronto technician.
Cockroaches
"Smokey Browns", as they're called are very common in the Southeast. They are outdoor roaches, hiding under vegetation and debris, heavy mulch, and leaves. They are nocturnal, and are strong flyers often seen flying near or around outdoor lights at night.
Ticks
Opossum carry diseases such as leptospirosis, tuberculosis, relapsing fever, tularemia, spotted fever, toxoplasmosis, coccidiosis, trichomoniasis, and Chagas disease. They may also be infested with fleas, ticks, mites, and lice. Learn More
Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes can make life miserable. Many recreational and work activities have been ruined by the constant annoyance and irritation caused by their bites. Also, some species can transmit serious diseases such as the Zika Virus, and West Nile Virus.
Flies
Mites
Gnats
Some breeding sites simply cannot be eliminated, requiring application of larvicides to attain control of those areas. Lethal only to mosquito wrigglers and the larvae of some aquatic gnats and black flies, Larvicides are insecticides which are used to control immature mosquitoes before they have a chance to develop into biting adults.
Palmetto Bugs
Actually, they're one in the same. American Cockroaches are often called "Palmetto Bugs" (no one likes to say they have roaches, right?). These roaches are one of the largest cockroach species in the United States, with some adults growing to over 2 1/2 inches. They're usually quite shiny and are a reddish to dark brown color.
There are 16 species of bats found in Georgia, but we primarily find the Little Brown Bat and Big Brown Bat species most likely to roost in the attics and chimneys of our homes and other structures. Bats are only a nuisance pest when they decide to occupy human dwellings. They are a natural source of mosquito and other insect control and should only be removed and/or excluded by a professional when absolutely necessary.

Wildlife
Pronto is fully licensed by the GA Dept. of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division, in Wildlife Trapping, Removal, & Exclusion. Pronto is fully insured to protect your home and family as well as ours.
Proper Exclusion or rodent-proofing requires that all openings 1/2 inch or larger be sealed off, using flashing, wire mesh, repellent foam sealants or a combination of these to permanently close all access points. Modification to the exterior of the structure may be necessary as well, including trimming tree limbs and removing vines attached to it.
Mice
Rats
Prefer to live close to people. They burrow and make their nests under and around structures where food, water, and shelter is available. Our household garbage provides quite the balanced diet and generally meets their moisture needs. These rats cause considerable damage to food stuffs and animal feeds. They'll damage crops as well as the containers they're stored in. Their burrowing can weaken foundations of structures and they'll gnaw both wiring and water pipes. They also destroy insulation and anything else that they can line their nests with.
Squirrels
Both Gray and Flying Squirrels are common in our area, and both frequently get into structures causing aggravation as well as damage. Control of squirrels requires different control strategies and technical expertise. Learn More
