DO NOT make the same mistake I did. I am moving to another state and they will not let me out of their "automatically renewing" contract and scam you for thousands of dollars forcing you to file complaints with the state consumer protection agencies. I even OFFERED to pay an early termination fee of $200 and give them all of the monitoring equipment back and they refused. They said they will make me pay for the services and equipment EVEN AFTER they have removed it from my house and literally told me there was nothing I could do about it. They don't care about you or your safety they just want to rip you off for as much as they can. They also charged me for a sensor they didn't install!!! So you ask, what is the alternative? Buy a basic security system and find a reputable company to monitor it online that does not lock you into a SIX YEAR contract. I hope you head my warning and save yourself thousands of dollars by avoiding this company's scam.
