Commercial Pest Control
Our Commercial Services are tailored to meet your unique situation, so no matter what type of business you operate. we are prepared to address it.
There is no denying that they are regarded as a major pest that most home owners are anxious to control. Since every home at one time or another has found a trail of ants in their kitchen or bathroom, you need the services of our pest control company.
Spiders
There are several venomous spiders found in our area and they can include the Brown Widow, the Black Widow, the Brown Recluse, or the hobo spider. While there is some argument as to whether a bite can cause a fatality, it is acknowledged that their bite can be serious for an adult, and even more so for a child, the elderly or someone with a compromised immune system. Better to avoid their bite altogether, and that means avoiding the spider.
Termites
If you are like most homeowners, you know that your home is your single largest investment. Allowing pests such as rodents, termites or other pests to literally undermine you and your foundation is unacceptable, especially when a simple call to us can remedy the situation. Don’t let them eat you out of house and home. Contact us before an initial invasion becomes a costly repair.
Fleas
If you remember the old adage- if you see one flea, your house is infested with fleas. When you consider the numbers from a typical infestation (5% adults, 10% cocoons, 35% larvae and the remaining 50% eggs), you can see why just treating the adults that you see will not contain the infestation. Scroll to bottom of the page for more info.
Cockroaches
Most homeowners recognize that seeing a cockroach scurrying across their kitchen counter or across their bathroom floor is not a good thing, but they may not realize just how serious a health threat this vermin can present to their families. You may have heard of the American Cockroach or the German Cockroach, but have you heard of Staphylococcus, Escherichia Coli, Salmonella or Streptococcus? All of these diseases are bacteria borne and found on the legs and bodies of the cockroach. When you see them, they are depositing this bacteria on your counters and floors, and you definitely need to rid your home of this carrier before they infect your family.
Silverfish
Silverfish could be our friend if they were not so destructive. After all, they like so many of the same things we do. They like old books, but instead of reading them they eat the paper and the glue. They also like antique rugs, but not for walking on, just for eating the threads especially if it is made of wool, cotton or silk. You can also find them devouring a wide range of foodstuffs including coffee grounds, treasured family photos, your best clothing including wool coats, sugar and pantry stored food items. They are an invasive pest that can lower your quality of life significantly. Especially considering that when they are done eating, they leave behind fecal matter than can trigger allergies and asthma among children, the elderly, or anyone with a compromised immune system.
Bees
"Wasps are distinguishable from bees by their pointed lower abdomens and the narrow "waist," called a petiole, that separates the abdomen from the thorax.
Wasps
There are many varieties of wasps, including paper, fig, cuckoo and parasitoid. But when you mention a wasp in Central Valley, people are picturing a yellow jacket. They are not just an annoying flying insect somewhere between an ant and a bee, but the fact that they can sting again and again without doing harm to themselves puts them in a vermin category all by themselves.
Ticks
The lists of pests and vermin that can invade your home, yard, garage and basement is a nightmare list of all things creepy crawly, including (in alphabetical order) everything from ants, beetles, clothes moths, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, fleas, house centipedes, mice, rats, silverfish, slugs, sow or roly-poly bugs, snails, spiders, ticks, wasps and weevils. Plus a few more that are not even listed!
Crickets
If only crickets were adorable in real life like the Disney Good Luck Cricket from Mulan, you would not need to find methods to eradicate them from your home, garage, or yard. But they are uninvited vermin in your home, and insect vermin can spread such diseases as yellow or rift valley fever, lyme disease, malaria, typhus, tularemia or rocky mountain spotted fever. Somehow listening to the male cricket chirp is no longer relaxing but a spur to call Onstar for prompt treatment.
Earwigs
Earwigs are an insect that is found in three basic colors, black, red or brown. The fact that they do not seem to carry diseases infectious to humans doesn’t matter, as they are still one of the most hated bug around.
Centipedes
The lists of pests and vermin that can invade your Turlock home, yard, garage and basement is a nightmare list of all things creepy crawly, including (in alphabetical order) everything from ants, beetles, clothes moths, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, fleas, house centipedes, mice, rats, silverfish, slugs, sow or roly-poly bugs, snails, spiders, ticks, wasps and weevils. Plus a few more that are not even listed! Read More
Beetles
Ground beetles are not considered to be dangerous to humans; they are not known to spread any diseases and while they can bite, they rarely do.
Yellow Jackets
We might not notice the beginning of a nest, starting with one of two yellow jackets, but when they start building their nest it is almost too late. They can become very aggressive, and present a medical issue when they sting small children or pets. They can even cause death as a result of anaphylactic shock, so it is best to avoid them all together. A simple call or e-mail to Onstar Pest Control can control your infestation, and our monthly or bi-monthly maintenance programs can keep them that way.
Moths
Moths don't 'like' light at all. The reason they fly maniacally around bulbs is that in the pre-electric world in which they evolved, they used the moon to navigate by night.
Stink Bugs
Dan & Onstar Pest Control have been providing excellent service since 1998. We live in the country and Dan sprays our dog kennels and horse stalls as well as the house. Whenever we have an attack of stink bugs or gnats Dan will be right there to take care of the problem. Onstar is dependable and efficient we recommend them highly.

Slugs
Snails and slugs are plant eaters mostly found near water and shade, and they will eat your plants with great enthusiasm. But there are diseases that they carry which can be fatal to humans, and it is estimated over 200 million people worldwide are schistosome-infected. When you consider travelers from around the world enter the US on a daily basis, and the fact that we import fruits and vegetables from around the world, you cannot be too careful in protecting your family from exposure.
Snails
You might be worrying more about your shade loving hostas or your spring primroses when we mention concerns about snails and slugs, but did you know that they can also be a source of serious, even fatal diseases?
Pill Bugs
Most homeowners simply consider these pests a nuisance. Pill bugs do not bite, sting, or carry any harmful diseases
No matter how they gain access to your home, everywhere they travel their bodies, feet and tails are spreading their feces and urine throughout your home. They are always on the search for food, and the food preparation areas of your kitchen are a favorite haunt. Every time they run across your kitchen floor or countertops, you need to sterilize your food preparation areas to avoid contaminating the food you are serving your family. It makes much more sense to eradicate the rodents and prevent their re-entry. Our programs are specifically designed to terminate first, and prevent their recurrence later.
Mice
If you don’t recognize the danger that mice can represent to you and your family, visit the Center For Disease Control website. House mice (mus musculus) can carry plague, murine typhus, leptospirosis, and rickettsial pox, Include the deer mouse, and you can add the hanta virus. There is a term, commensal, which describes the fact that mice live at peoples’ expense.
Rats
Rats often become a serious problem in cold winter months when they seek food and warmth inside buildings.
