Nova Basement Systems

I had Nova install basement perimeter waterproofing system back in Feb. 2007---after 12 yrs of a bone dry basement, their system failed in May 2019---sand built up in their system and water was pouring over Nova's little "edge-guard" thingy that lies a few inches out from the walls of the basement. I have had the annual clean-out/maintenance done EVERY YEAR since the install in 2007. I called Nova, it took them some time to get someone out here (busy season). Initially, Nova was only going to replace the back wall of our basement (where a tech had first discovered sand built up), but when they sent a crew out here to do that back wall, fortunately, THAT crew leader (Phil) checked our entire perimeter of those clean-out traps and sand was built up everywhere around the entire perimeter of basement! NOT OUR FAULT! After a phone call to the boss(es) @ Nova, it was decided they would re-do our entire basement...AT NO COST TO US (due to their lifetime transferrable warranty, and the fact that I kept up with the annual maintenance checks). At this point, basement is dry (again)..YAY! and I commend Nova for living up to their warranty! As for Warren M's comment...I DO have an Owners Manual! I received that little manual after the initial installation was completed in 2007, it was in the envelope that came with the actual Warranty Certificate.
