Overall

Total crooks! Don't use them. ...

Total crooks! Don't use them. Started our home renovation and never finished. And kept asking for more money to finish the job when we had already paid ahead of the payments!! They never returned calls and we had to pay another contractor to finish the job. Ended up costing us double in the end. One horrible experience we will never forget.

Flooring
One of the most obvious benefits that hardwood and vinyl flooring provide is that they are extremely easy to clean because they don’t attract as much dirt and debris, so you won’t be forced to clean them as often. This can even lead to better air quality throughout the home which is a huge plus, especially for those with bad allergies or respiratory issues. Most Vinyl flooring even has waterproof properties making them a great option for kitchens where there’s a higher risk for spills or basements because of the dampness. On the flip side, carpet is much more prone to stains and retaining odors especially if you have pets or young children running around the house, and depending on the severity might require you to pay for expensive cleaning services or replace it entirely.

Since I can remember I loved construction. I started very young going to jobs with my father who made it very clear I had to work my way up from the bottom. I learned every aspect of construction starting with clean-ups before moving onto sheathing/framing/masonry/project management.

My role at Noah Construction is to develop a virtual model, using the latest cutting edge technology to envision what the home will look like after the remodel is complete. I first visit homes of our prospective clients to get an accurate measurement and photographs of the existing conditions. That way I can build a 3D model with detailed renderings of the house so our clients can see what their final home will look like. I graduated Island Drafting Amityville in 2006 with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Assisted Drafting. I have been in the home improvement industry since I was 16 years old, having started at Grossman’s Lumber. I also have experience in home construction as well – from decks to bathrooms. I was also the property manager for two high-end restaurants on the North Fork of Long Island. In my free time, I enjoy building my own furniture, playing guitar, drums, and writing original songs.

Carpentry
Has over 18 years of experience in construction and has been a part of the Noah family for over 10 years. Gonzo worked his way up, learning all facets of the industry such as: demo, carpentry, electrical, and finishing. He is now a key member of our management team.
