Mangano Plumbing Sewer & Drain

I had this company come today, they quoted a price over the phone but unfortunately when it came down to it there was a lot more work involved than i first thought. Turns out my septic tank had never been serviced at all and tech who came to do the work, it took two hours just to pump it. Also apparently bc it had never been pumped when the installers put it in they put it down too far for regular servicing and they had to make it higher to the surface in order for us to have future services done without destroying the whole lawn. All in all they did a great job and while it wound up costing a lot more than we were expecting, Im very happy with the job. My significant other wasnt too thrilled with the pricing, but, sometimes what needs to be done needs to be done, after all its not their fault that the work was never done. The service guy was super informative and so nice, I made sure to tip him after all the hard work.

Just had this company on Saturday and considering your dealing with human waste the whole experience was educational and enjoyable. definetely feel like i got my moneys worth and my girlfriend was happy that the three guys on site were each clean cut and she felt safe letting them into the house with our 3 year old son to continue the work. Recommended them to my brother and would recommend them again.

Im a new homeowner, first time buyer! I called this company for a cesspool inspection of the house i was looking to buy. I was very impressed with the staff because they were willing to teach me about my cesspool system. I grew up on city sewers and new virtually nothing. After I purchased the house I had them come back to service the cesspool, and we discussed installing an overflow. After about a month of living in the home I decided to go for it, because I entertain a lot and have a lot of family over. Im also getting married soon and my fiance and his daughter will be moving in. They had a crew come and each one was so respectful of my home and my landscaping. I didnt post my review right away because I wanted to make sure there were no issues first, but, I can only say good and great things about this company.

This company is awesome. With all the rain wed been having i had some serious flooding in my basement. they came and put a pump in that ran to the street to get the water out of my house. i actually had so much water that even though the pump was doing its job if i wanted to beat it i needed another. we put a second in, and they called and stayed in touch with me all through the time i had the pumps, they answered all my questions and were just all around knowledgeable and provided a great service. id use them again in a heartbeat.

I was reading all the reviews like I always do before I hire a company and I was very impressed with the reviews. I called, Mangano's came and fixed my problem. They were curteous and nice, and most of all efficient. Before I went to write my review I noticed the last one about this single mom. I gotta say I had the complete opposite experience with Mangano's company. I told them about my toilets issue, and as it turns out it wasnt a toilet problem at all. They initially fixed a couple odds and ends in the bathroom, and when that didnt take care of the problem entirely they were able to figure out where the true issue was. Its like going to a dr, they can only diagnose going off of the obvious symptoms. Mangano's was awesome, the tech who came was clean and nice and didnt make me feel like a complete ignoramus when I had given them the wrong problem initially. I recommended them to my brother for his cesspool issue, and my mother for her plumbing problems. Ill be a life long customer for sure.

Do not recommend this company. I recently had odors in my bathroom and called Mangano. I did not know where my cesspool was located and advised them of this when I first called. The technician came out and after probing the ground for 30 minutes finally found the cesspool. He aerated the cesspool but the cesspool he aerated was empty. Obviously it was the overflow. I would think that a reliable company would have known that my cesspool was empty. Instead he continued to airate that cesspool, and ofcourse had no problem take my money. I called a plumber and he confirmed the tank was empty. When I called to discuss with Mangano they said they did the job they were called to do. They did not offer to resolve this situation. Just typically of a company to take advantage of a singe mom.

I have had problems with my cesspool for years. I am so delighted to finally deal with a company that guarantees their work and doesnt change the pricing from the time you talk to them on the ohone until they reach your home.

My husbands rental property was backing up repeatedly, and he called a company to come in and take care of it. The guy came and told us not to let anyone sell us on aeration because "he doesnt believe in it and its a waste of money." He pumped and put in 2 jugs of chemical stating that would take care of it. Well, needless to say over the last year, we've had to call that guy back 3 times, and each time it was the same old story. Finally I got fed up and looked for another company. The people at Mangano's were the most friendly and by far the most polite. The others made me feel like I was a stupid woman who doesnt know anything, which I dont, but I didnt like to feel that way. Mangano's came, we told him our story, and he pumped out 1000 gallons for 100 dollars (he was by far the cheapest on the island!) and then he aerated and chemically treated. We havent had a problem since and this is going on 9 months now! I didnt review the company before bc I wasnt sure that it would work... but it has, and we've saved a lot compared the other company that we probably would have called back at least 2 more times. Aeration works! And big thanks to Mangano's for being so quick about it.

I would highly recommend Mangano Sewer and Drain Co, to everyone I know. It was a Saturday evening after 5;00 p.m., and after speaking with several other so called 24 hour emergency service companies who couldn’t come out till the morning. I came across Mangano, ad in the Yellowbook. Jon (owner) arrived at my house within a half hour after I placed the call. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge. He took care of the problem while fully explaining everything to my husband and myself. We were extremely happy with the service and would definitely use them again. GREAT COMPANY!!!! My dad is elderly and he lives alone. I work two jobs and do my best to be there to help him, but I cant always be there. My father was having a problem with his tub draining slowly. I found Manganos online and liked their reviews. They came within an hour and called me when they were on their way. I was stuck at work and couldnt be there, they accepted the credit card over the phone after the job was done. When I got home I went to check the tub out for myself, and was told by my dad that the tech came, did the job, cleaned up after himself, and talked with my dad the whole time..Being that he lives alone it meant a lot to me that the guy was nice to my dad and recognized that a lonely old man might enjoy someone listen to his old stories. I wil definetely use Mangano's again, not only was their work professional and timely, but they just seem like a nice company of real people.

WATCH OUT FOLKS!!! These people are greedy and will use any excuse to try to increase their bill. My job was only 2 days out of warranty and they refused to honor it. I even offered to give them the $500 job of inspecting my line with the camera, but they refused to waive the roto charge. Not people you want to do business with. BEWARE.

Most professional company Ive dealt with in a long time. They answered the phone at 645am. When they say 24 hours they really mean it. I called 3 other "24 hour" companies but they were the only ones to answer. Due to noise constraints in my area they got a truck out to me by 815am, right after the town would allow any work to be done. The tech was helpful and efficient and clean. I didnt feel like I was being taken for a ride like you feel sometimes with other companies. Ill definetely be calling them back!!

the morning after the first blizzard of the winter i was out shovelling with my husband when my 12 year old son came outside to tell me that the house was backing up. wonderful. i called several companies some said they were snowed in their yards and couldnt make it till the next day, and one who said there was a "snow charge" to make it there today. mangano sewer and drain was the last on my list and i almost didnt call because i expected the same thing. they answered the phone right away and were super friendly and told me they could be there within the hour. i asked about the possible extra "snow charge" and they'd never heard of something like it. they came within the hour like they said they would the technician was neat & respectful of my home, bringing in a towel to take his boots off to inspect the problem, before diagnosing that it was just a main line issue and not a toilet clog. he was done quickly. no fuss no muss. problem solved, shovelling continued. definetely calling them next time i have an issue.

i called the company at 830 at night. the tech was dispatched to my house within a half hr. he took a look and gave me an estimate. we made plans for him to return in the morning. i didnt have to chase him to find out what time he was coming back, he was at my door (on a weekend) by 845am with all necessary parts/equiptment, he had even called me from the store to discuss what color id prefer, and gave me a list of prices based upon make and model and color. i havent had a good serviceman experience in a while, nice to know some companies still got it together

picture it... big party on labor day with friends and family running around. my 12 year old daughter brings in my 9 year old son and says he smells like poop. he actually did. we checked where he was playing in the yard and sure enough, the area smelled like feces. i jumped on yellow pages and found mangano sewer & drain. the receptionsit sent someone right away, he was there within a half hour. it was a simple overflow issue that could have ruined the whole party. the tech fixed the problem for the day, and has such great prices, i used him last weekend to snake a line for me. does it get better than a quick response time? i dont think so.

Less than a year ago I had my cesspool serviced by an add I had found in the pennysaver. The guy showed up in ripped pants & a stained shirt. At the time I didnt really care what the guy looked like or what his equiptment looked like because it was an emergency situation. He gave a cheap price and came right away... I figured, how bad could he be? At the end he gave me a receipt and it said he guarranteed his work for over 2 years. This year, the same problem occured. I called the company back and he told me that he wouldnt honor his guarrantee. He was also going to charge me double for the same problem that he obviously didnt fix in the first place. My husband and I were furious. I called my sister to vent and see if she knew of anyone, she had a door knocker advertisement from mangano sewer & drain. She told me to call them. When the service man showed up (within a half an hour) he wore a nice uniform, his name clearly printed, and his van and equipment were spotless and neat. He gave me an estimate and included a 10% new customer discount. He even used a tarp to place the dirt and grass that he had to dig up to uncover my cesspool! He explained everything to me, and answered all my questions. He gave me a receipt that stated the company guarrantees all work for up to one year. I was very impressed and will definetely recomend the company again.

My husband and I own a medical building in which we had an emergency sewer problem. The toilet backed up on the lower level and water was pouring out into the hallway carpets about to enter the suites! Mangano Sewer and Drain showed up so quickly after our phone call. The owner, Jon, was efficient, polite and quick. He knew exactly was to do and acted quickly saving the disasterous mess we would have had. He stayed and made sure everything was just the way it was before the overflow. From his utility Van, to his uniform and to his actions I can highly recommend him to anyone.
