I highly recommend Lon Smith Roofing, they did a professional job from start to finish. All calls were promptly returned from the office, salesman & supervisor when communicating. They worked well with my insurance company to ensure all my gutters were replaced as well. Very pleased with their work.

I had called this company from a reference from a relative. I called Lon Smith and talked to someone who said that someone would come out to my home and give me an estimate in 72 hours never heard from them. I called them back and was told that someone would call me back and to this day never heard a peep from this company.

Amazing job on our new roof. Initial estimate was done promptly and price was the best of any of the contractors we contacted. Work and follow-through was excellent. We will definitely use this company again when needed and highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services.

Salesperson Chuck Clary was very helpful in explaining what was needed, how it would be completed and everything went smoothly. The materials were delivered when we were told they would be delivered. The job was completed when we were told it would be completed. We had a couple of visits after the job was done to make sure we were happy with it and it was done to our satisfaction. We would use Lon Smith again if we had to. Very reliable and helpful.

In February, 2016 I was approached by a Lon Smith Roofing representative who thought that some of the roofs in my neighborhood had suffered either hail or wind damage. I was somewhat skeptical, but asked for an assessment. After climbing on our roof it was his opinion that I had received some damage. Farmer's Insurance was called and an adjuster came out and confirmed that we did have hail damage. We then hired Lon Smith Roofing to replace the roof.



First and foremost they did what they said they would from delivery of the shingles, to shingle installation, and finally to clean-up. All the work was done in the most professional manner. Lon Smith's installer and supervisor communicated well so I always knew the status of the job. Once the job was complete there was a thorough inspection of the work to make sure I was satisfied.



I would hire Lon Smith Roofing again.

I was hesitant to use this company for my roof replacement since it is large and based elsewhere, but I could not be more happy with their work. I had a heavy travel schedule and they worked hard to accommodate it. The estimator, Patrick, ...More

We had a giant hail storm come through Austin which damaged our entire roof and skylight. Ryan from Lon Smith Austin office was in our neighborhood the next morning. Ryan secured the building permit and Lon Smith acted as my advocate when dealing with reticent insurance companies to make sure that the claims adjuster generated an accurate and market based quote, not one that fit the insurers storm team budget for a typical house of our size. When the insurer would not pay the extra $ 600 to get the ballast hoisted on the flat portion of our roof Lon Smith said they would get it up there even if the insurance company did not pay. The old roof was off and the new one on in 14 hours. What the....?!?!?!?!? I did not know that was possible. The only reason they are missing the final star is because even with the multi month lead time they did not have the custom skylight ready to go on the day of the install so they had to have it made and installed afterwards.

Had to have some missing shingles replaced and minor repairs made to my roof. Even though this was a small job, Lon Smith Roofing treated it the same as a major roof replacement. They were prompt, professional, and courteous in all aspects of the job. The repairmen arrived on time, got the job done within 1/2 hr., explained what they did, cleaned up and left. I will definitely use this company for any future roof repairs and replacement I have.

From the call to the free estimate, Lon Smith Roofing was very professional. The roof repair was done timely and very happy with their work. Will use them again.

Beginning with the salesman:

He was very knowledgeable, since this was the first time I got a new roof, it took longer for me to comprehend all the details attached to it. He explained everything until I understood and left me the decision without pressing me in any way.

The delivery of my new roof came one day before the work started, just as I wanted it.

The roofing crew was very punctual and did their work that should have lasted 2 days , in one day and five hours.The crew worked with the utmost precision I ever saw here in the States. Since I come from Germany, all Germans strive to be perfect and deliver solid work, so I should know! The crew consisted of 7 workers, where each of them knew his work and did it without anyone looking and teling them what to do and when. It was done like clockwork.

When they left, everything looked nice and proper.

The inspector came one day later and controlled that all was ok., what it was.

I was please with the customer service on my roof repair. The salesman discussed various options with us in an informative way. The work itself was timely and thorough, as was the inspection afterwards. I would use this company again.

I have done business with Lon Smith Roofing exclusively for both my personal residence as well as rental property for years. I have found their representatives to be experts, their installing crews to be thorough, and the pricing fair and competitive within the market. Although bombarded by mail marketing and door-to-door sales reps after any damaging weather event, I always go through someone who has been around and will stand by their work. During the last project, the crew was faced with a high pitched roof, extremely hot temperatures and a few places did not turn out quite right. As an overly picky consumer, I wanted it remedied. They didn't hesitate to rip off the work and redo it so that I was a happy customer. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend Lon Smith roofing for any project based on my own experiences.

The quality of workmanship, clean up and even the office staff was top notch. I am satisfied.
