"We Are TreeWise!"

General Info
Not All Tree Companies Are Equal - or as devoted in their commitment to the Customer. Make sure you have made a well informed decision before you commit and the cutting begins. The wrong cut can cause irreversible damage to your trees and perhaps structures as well. We began as a small residential service and have expanded to meet the needs of a wide variety of clients including homeowners, local school districts, area churches, real estate brokers, landlords, property management organizations, and local builders. Lakes Tree Service is a homegrown Tree Care company servicing our community since 1995. We are an established Veteran Owned business who takes our work seriously. In 1995 we originally started out as Doug's Tree Service and still get tracked down from past customers that know us by that name and know our reputation. We are based on 40 acres with a fully functional 30ft by 60ft support shop with office space. In the years Lakes Tree Service has been in business we have observed the long-term results of proper 'drop-crotch' pruning vs. improper practices such as indiscriminate cutting. Over the years of observation of both methods of practice: there is definitely a marked difference between inexperienced or indifferent detrimental practices, and the professional Arboricultural procedure that Lakes Tree Service practices, in direct relationship to the long-term health of the trees. Lakes Tree Service follows the tree care practices of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A300 Standards for Tree Care Operations. Unless otherwise noted, specifications used on your project are derived from these industry standards. We also follow the safety guidelines of the ANSI 2133.1 publication. There are only a very small number of tree services' in our area that can truly claim being homegrown with the hands-on background knowledge of Lakes Tree Care Service. Most the competition are new to the neighborhood and simply are not familiar with our local and rather unique environment and knowledgeable in observing signs and symptoms, and gathering information about factors affecting the tree’s health within our community. These factors include: • Forest to Urbanization (post-construction stress, dieback) • Biological Factors (insects, disease, wildlife) • Environmental Factors (weather, soil, air pollution) • Cultural Factors (pruning, watering, fertilization). When thinking about having a tree service business conduct an on-site visit - think of Lakes Tree Service.
