This CLOWNS BBB rating is a generous F.
It is unfortunate that we no longer have debtors prisons and continue to allow miscreants like this to steal from unsuspecting homeowners.
Check out the Summit county court docket under John J. Mills to get an understanding of what a piece of work he is.
Refer him to your worse enemy.

Provided by SuperpagesJohn just finished a total gut job of my kitchen and bathroom. All the way down to the studs. He even knocked a wall out and added a wall per our plans. He and his crew did it all from the demolition all the way to the final paint job!! He was really professional and always on time. He had a really good crew with him also. I looked at these other negative reviews. I had none of those problems. I would refer him to anyone.

When we returned we found walls that felt like sandpaper, splotchy walls, paint on the wood kitchen cabinets, furniture, carpet, and base boards. He poured mortar down our washroom drain to mention a few of the problems. Do not let this man in your house. He is sloppy, careless, and unprofessional.

This man is not to be trusted. He was hired to do work on my dad's house: removing wallpaper, painting, fixing the little things that needed done. Instead of fixing things, he made them worse. He, or someone working for him, poured mortar down the utility drain in a home with a septic tank. Luckily, we caught it before it set up. He also made a mess of the walls, failing to remove the wallpaper adhesive and painting without sufficient light. We ended up with walls that looked and felt like sand paper. They were splotchy from where he missed areas, or where he got paint on adjoining surfaces (like furniture, ceiling, carpet). Be wary.

Provided by SuperpagesJohn does great work and pays attention to what you're looking to accomplish. When he underestimated the amount of labor it would take to do some work for me (by a couple days due to complications), he completed the work and the price didn't change. He tends to work by job price instead of hours of labor. He's my guy for everything from plumbing to electrical. He recently remodeled my bathroom and did everything very satisfactorily (and asked questions along the way to be sure he was getting what we were after).
