Overall

They don't deserve a star for how I was treated. I just got my furniture in sat (waited 5wks!) Then had to pay $69 for them to deliver and I live 5 min away! I could of sworn she told me it was FREE for gallatin residents only.. Well my sofa was damaged and they offered a discount or exchange.i took discount cause they said it would take another 5 wks to get the replacement in!!! They were gona charge $125 just to put my coffee tables together but I opt out..so even after paying once it got in i still had to wait a day for somebody to bring it (i could of got someone but at the time it was a hassle so I just let them deliver) ok once I got my tables open to put together they were the wrong color finish..so come Monday I thought it would be a simple fix and I could just exchange for the right color or switch out with something of equal price..well she automatically told me no. And went on to tell me how good it would look.trying to convince me to keep it.. (I think I know how to decorate and i know what i want) so after all that I still got a no! And was asked to send an email to show her what I was speaking of so I did..then she avoided to get bck on the phone with me so I ended up speaking with the husband and he went on to say how it was real wood and how it was just the wood grain coming through.but it was silver wood grain on top of black..how is that REAL (natural)? And he also agreed not to exchange as well. Now this woman Kimmie seemed to be the nicest person with a clear goal to help you but when it come down to it..they're just a money hungry couple who does not care about the customers at all! That was my first and LAST time ever going in that store! Yall better be careful..just go somewhere else. I should of known somethimg wasn't right when she started bashing gibson furniture!NOT GOOD BUISNESS MRS.KIMMIE!

I wish I had read these review...

I wish I had read these reviews prior to doing business with this store. I recently purchased a mattress set from them. There was no mention of a delivery charge during the purchasing process and then come time for delivery, which was two weeks late by the way, It's "Oh, by the way, You owe us $80 to deliver". The mattress arrives and there is a horrible smell to it. I was unable to sleep on the mattress at all for two weeks and even then it was causing coughing and headaches. After less than a week, the left side of the mattress began to collapse, a depression formed on one side, the other side is harder than the rest of the mattress and seems to be wedge shaped, because it rolls you to the middle of the bed. There is also a ridge forming in the middle of the mattress. When I called the company to see about returning the mattress and getting a refund, I was promptly told "Well, You picked it out, so you are stuck with it. We don't replace mattresses because you don't like the way it smells, etc...etc.." I won't even get into the conversation I had with Corsicana, which is the maker of the mattress. The overall experience was NOT GOOD, they all but came out and called me a liar.

Overall

I recently purchased bedding and it was suppose to be delivered the following week. Had to wait three weeks for the delivery and still charged the delivery fee. The bed collapsed and called for a new bed since there was a warranty. The owner is replacing the bed but is charging a $100 delivery fee to go 35 miles stating this fee is not covered under warranty. No bed to sleep on unless we pay this astronomical fee. Not good business practice. Definitely would not recommend this store. They do not care about customer service or returning customers.

Overall

I recently purchased furniture from gallaint furniture store I had to wait 2 weeks for delivery after being told it would be delivered the following weekend, so had no furniture to sit on for 2 weeks and still was charged a delivery fee what happen to common good business skills. Now my furniture is coming apart at the seams and they state there is nothing they can do for us because the 90 days is up. I did not expect this furniture to fall apart at all much less after 90 days. Our prior furniture we had for 15 years and no problems at all. I do not recommend this company for these reasons.
