No stars! I can't believe it's been five years and I am STILL finding defects in Jon Jolley's work!! Aside from leaving my rental property a mess, taking two weeks beyond HIS estimated completion date, failing to adequately supervise and complete the project and subsequently having to re-install wood flooring on the stairs, I am now finding that the shower insert was so improperly installed that the entire thing has to be removed and replaced since he did not put ANY BACKING behind it. It's been flimsy and leaking water from the beginning! When I first called him out about a leak that penetrated the floor beneath it causing damage to the ceiling below, he blamed it on my tenants not using the plumbing fixtures properly. He also used FLAT PAINT in that bathroom that we repeatedly complained was accumulating mildew and he, again, blamed the tenants for not opening the window and turning on the ceiling fan. He's the one that was supposed to have SOLVED our problem - not blame others for his failed solutions. If I had the time and patience to give him the opportunity to remedy his faulty work, I might not be upset enough to make this post. But I don't have time for his lackadaisical work mode and all of the imminent call backs that he resents so much - apparently, its annoying to him to have to go back a fix what he did wrong to begin with.
Jon’s website is very misleading – it makes the company out to be a big company with lots of “experts” but the contractor’s license board says no work comp insurance is require because he has no employees. I’m going with CSLB on this one…
