We hired Michael for a stone stair case and patio. He showed up on time and gave us exactly what we were looking for. Everything came out beautiful. We would highly recommend him.

I hired Mike to do a small walkway off of an existing patio. It was late winter and you could tell he was hungry for work. He offered to the walkway for a very good price compared to the existing work. To put it mildly, you get what you pay for and it’s true what they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. What he did was dig out existing asphalt, put down two inches (if that) of stone dust and placed the pavers down. No gravel base, no edge restraints and no polymeric sand to fill the space between the pavers. This means in 3 months I will have weeds growing everywhere. Pavers have already shifted. He said he would be back to put down sand and cement the edges but he never came back. What’s worse is that I knew my neighbor was looking to get a patio installed so I told her about Mike before the work started. He offered her a good price but it was only good if she did it at the same time he did mine. Her patio came out even worse than my walkway- same deal. No edge restraints, no gravel no leveling no plate compactor! The guy had none of the required tools to do the job right, just a shovel, rake and hand tamper.
I have already called in a professional to fix the mess he made.
I don’t know how he is with other masonry projects but it’s crystal clear he knows nothing about installing patios correctly. If a patio is what you need, DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!

Michael installed a patio for us about a week ago to get a head start on an early spring using a Genest paver the work came out great they were on time, prompt and very professional and polite to deal with. We are extremely satisfied with the work they provided.

Mike took a deposit for work and never came to do the work. Each time I called the check was in the mail - then he blocked my number. He is a thief, do not hire him, if you do - do not pay anything until he has completed the job to your satisfaction.

Mike did an amazing job! We wanted a patio in an area that had some sloping and drainage issues. Not only do we have an amazing new patio, he transformed our backyard from a mud pit to a beautiful space we use daily. He listened to all our plans for now and into the future and suggested a design that could be adapted as we complete more construction. He was so within budget, we had him replace a failing retaining wall with a totally new wall with stairs! Now I have 2 awesome projects completed and LOVE his work! He has also checked in periodically to make sure I still LOVE it! He was super fast, super professional, and super nice! I have already recommended him to anyone who comments on how beautiful everything looks! I can’t wait to have him back!

Mike is completley professional and goes above and beyond for you and your project. He spent time to really listen to what we wanted and executed everything perfect, down to the type of brick and stone we wanted. One of the best people to help you realize your project and he is passionate and proud of his work and it shows. We wanted old granite and he was able to souce original stones from Boston Common for us! I will be calling on him for all my masonry work in the future and look forward to working with him again soon!

I would highly recommend Mike for any masonry work for your home. We had been wanting new front stairs at our house for many years. We had poured concrete slate stones and it took away from the curb appeal of our small colonial. I am glad I was introduced to Mike because he transformed the entry way to our house and we have received many compliments from friends and neighbors. He answered all of our questions and was detailed and efficient. We decided to go with a larger width granite tread with full size granite blocks based on his suggestions. We would choose Mike for any job going forward.

Mike re-did a set of front stairs, and fixed a crumbling basement foundation for us. He was super professional, explaining everything he was doing and why he was doing it. His prices were very fair, and he took the time to explain where the numbers were coming from. His work was fantastic, and done promptly.

Mike is finishing some work on our walkways and stonewall in Boxford. He has done a great job. He basically rebuilt the stone wall in some areas and he is refashioning the ends of the wall where they meet the driveway to complete the job. He is attentive and keeps you up to date on his progress. Highly recommend

Housing Solutions Masonry installed granite front steps and two walkways at my home. Mike took the time to explain all of the material options with me. He was very prompt in coming to my home to give me an estimate and to take measurements. Within a couple of days I had amazing steps and walkways. The neighbors have all commented on how they love the new look. Mike was very professional and an extremely hard worker. He did a great job at a great price. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for masonry work to be done on their home.

Excellent experience with Mike! He is extremely professional and certainly takes pride in his workmanship. Both rare traits of today. I was amazed at the prompt service we received. Within two days we had new brick and granite steps improving the appearance of our front entrance from the old wooden steps. I will definitely be calling upon Mike for future projects! We found a flier in our mailbox and within 1 hour after I called the number, Mike was at my home taking measurements and providing me with a very reasonable quote. As a tradesman myself, I was impressed with his presentation, knowledge and character while we were discussing my project. Within a day of hiring him, he was at my home with tools and materials. He finished my project in a matter of days and the result is a beautiful new set of Granite and Brick front stairs to our home. I am now in the process of having him brickface the front of the house as well as quoting me for a paver walkway. You wont go wrong hiring Mike.
