Drywalls
Joel A. DeTar, a Sedona general contractor, has been a resident of this area since 1973. Transplanted here from the Midwest, Joel graduated with honors from both Mingus Union High School in Cottonwood and later from Yavapai College in Prescott. Not long after graduation, Joel moved into the building industry to earn a living. Finding immense satisfaction in the creation of living environments with hands-on hard work, Joel rapidly moved to form his own company. Through mentors, too numerous to name, he became more than proficient at many trades. From foundation to decorative concrete and on to rough carpentry, drywall and the finest finish carpentry, he constantly was striving for perfection. While no longer wearing his bags, Joel is still widely respected for the attention to detail that has been so ingrained in him through-out his "hands-on" career.
