Overall
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. They...

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. They are now my ONLY mechanic!

My son's car was constantly dying and we called AAA. Middle of the intersection, stopped at a stop sign/light, slowing down... just stopped. We took it to Firestone off Soquel Canyon who had been fairly decent with us. Problem is, they aren't real "old fashioned" mechanics: if the car doesn't run, they can't hook it to the computer to diagnose the problem. For my son's car, when it ran, the problem was no longer there for the computer to find it. They would not do any real mechanic work, they totally rely on the computer to tell them the error code. I spent $ on diagnostic visits. The last few times, they didn't charge me.

The last time the car died, it was across the street from Firestone. They were kind enough to walk over to the car but - unless it was running so they could hook it up to the computer, there was nothing they could do. If it was running, the diagnostics showed nothing.

Called AAA, they recommended this shop. I went there and begged them to do old fashioned mechanic diagnostics; keep the car as long as needed. Within a day, they gave me the nasty dirty fuel pump from the car when they replace it. It ran AWESOME for six weeks, then suddenly died again. I called them and THEY sent a tow truck and said if it was their fault, there would be no charge for the new fuel pump or the tow.

I again told them to keep the car as long as needed and if they really fixed the problem, I would be a customer for life.

They called me six hours later and they found this car apparently had been in deep water for an extended period of time. (we had bought it 3 months earlier from a used car lot who magically couldn't get a carfax for us.) A wire that runs from somewhere inside the engine to somewhere by the gas tank (I don't remember all the facts; it's been a few months) had a small break inside the wire cover and was causing the fuel pump to short out.

They rewired whatever it was from top to bottom. They did not charge me one cent for the labor, the materials NOR the tow. I told them if it was REALLY fixed, I would have a lunch time pizza party for them in 30 days.

I kept my word... I bought six ginormous pizzas for everyone, sodas, the whole yards.

This place is now my only mechanic for all cars at home. My son's car did not stall ever again. (my son crashed it, but that's another story)

I take my cars there and 100% trust them. I have recommended them to many people and have a stack of their business cards with me at all times.

Overall
I was referred by a tow truck ...

I was referred by a tow truck driver instead of the dealership. They were awesome! They checked for FREE. (Dealership fee $95) They repaired in record time (2 hours) whereas dealership wanted all day & double the cost. They were friendly, clean, and they spoke English. I refer any chance I get.
