Howard Bronson and his wonderful crew just finished painting the exterior of our house, and doing a few repairs to the interior. I am 100% satisfied with the work they did. They started when they said they would; they arrived on time each morning; they were delightful to have around; and, they are excellent painters. The next time I need some painting, either interior or exterior, I will call Bronson Contractors. I also would like to point out that I am not the easiest person to please -- I demand perfection, and that's what I got!

Howard and his crew painted the entire interior of our house including ceilings, walls, trim, closets, and cabinets. The cost was very reasonable. They did an outstanding job of repairing and preparing all surfaces. They were especially careful to protect all furniture and surfaces not being painted during the process. The crew was always courteous and respectful. The quality of workmanship was excellent. The kitchen, bath, and utility room cabinets look brand new and the quality job done by Howard and his crew have updated our 28 year old home.

Very happy with the work Howard and his crew has done for my family. His entire crew is experienced, does great work and operates in a completely professional manner. They painted the exterior and interior of our family home. The work was done in a timely manner. This was a multi day project that spanned a few weeks. The entire crew showed up when they said they would each day of the project. Howard has recommend several other professionals for me in various lines of work. Each person he has put me in contact with has been excellent in their respective lines of work. I have run through a lot of contractors in my short time here in Richmond, Bronson Contractors is the only one I have reused and I will continue to do so.

My office was a mess after I tried to remove popcorn ceiling myself. Called Howard and after few days crew showed up, did literally a magic and left. My office is nicely bright with no popcorn ceiling and finally nice smooth flat ceiling above my head. They removed this ridiculous Virginia Tech purple color from the wall and left with check in hand. Funny part is that they were my very first contractors I hired and I think I found the right ones :-)

Howard Bronson and his team came highly recommended by my daughter. They had painted the entire exterior of her cape cod home and garage, along with replacing many boards, and did a beautiful job. My husband and I are remodeling portions of the interior of our home, specifically the master bedroom w/bath, the hall, and foyer. After being burned recently by a couple of contractors we were "gun-shy" until my daughter's recommendation. I cannot say enough good about the team. Howard and his guys are truly TOP NOTCH. I had my entire exterior of house and garage painted. Many boards replaced lattice hung and more. My house is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I don't know that I will ever find people as good as they are for any other job I may need done. This process was as painless as possible from the initial phone call. Communication was priceless. Everyday I came home from work I was just in awe with all they had done in a day. The guys were excited as I was to see the look on my face, speaks volumes about the quality of their work. I was walked around the house daily to be shown everything that had been done and make sure I was okay with it. There is just not enough good to be said about this company and the staff. If you are in need of any of their work I highly recommend you contact them. I will use them over and over for as many projects I need them for and will recommend them 1000 times over! I wouldn't dream of hiring any other business to paint! I've used their services several times and they are always reliable despite the weather! That's a huge one for me as a single parent. Not only are they dependable, their quality of work is unmatched! I gave Howard a list of colors for each room and they had everything done and ready for my family to move in within just 3 days! I laugh about it now, but I tried to remove some kitchen tile on my own and ended up with a giant hole that I tried to fill with caulk! Don't judge me people! I sent him a picture of the damage and he reassured me that his team would fix it. The best thing I did moving forward was to let them do it!! I recommend them to anyone that wants professional help at extremely competitive prices. If it weren't for them I'd most likey be rocking in a corner somewhere muttering obscenities about how Bob Vila is full of crap. Call them!! You and your family will get the very best!

Howard and his crew did an amazing job painting the exterior of my house and deck, They went the extra mile and worked through the weekend to finish since my daughter was visiting from California the first of the following week. Howard is very customer oriented, very professional and does many extra things at no charge to please his customer. If you want a true professional, give Howard a call, you will be happy you did.

Great experience! The house looks absolutely awesome, much better than I would ever have imagined. Howard showed up promptly and right on time for the estimate. He kept to the estimate and did many extras without an extra charge. The crew showed up on time every day and worked hard all day. The work--painting and repairs--were done professionally. The weather delayed the initial start date but Howard emailed me every day with updates until he was actually able to start the job. Howard and his crew was very courteous and professional and did an exceptional job to my satisfaction not theirs. Howard Bronson and his crew are nothing short of amazing!!! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. My family and I moved to Las Vegas from Richmond about a years ago, and we were having trouble selling our home. This past winter it sustained a great deal of water damage due to frozen water pipes. Our insurance adjuster told us that we would be lucky to find anyone that could repair the damage without breaking the bank. Our claim was minimal because we were partially at fault for the damages. So here I am 2,000+ miles away, with a very small check in hand, trying to figure out what to do. I know nothing about construction or how to go about hiring a company. I began by doing a quick google search for licensed contractors in the Richmond area. Once I had a list of names I narrowed them down based on reviews and internet presence. After two disappointing conversations with contractors I quickly became discouraged. The next name on my list was Bronson Contractors. When I called initially I had to leave a message, but Howard returned my call within hours. What's more is that he allowed me to fully explain my situation, inform him of the claim amount, and he took the time to help me understand the process from his end. In total we spent about 30 minutes talking and we scheduled for him to go see the house. This has not been an easy process and Howard has been an angel. He is extremely fair and honest and always does his best to take care of his customers. He truly understands the importance of hard work and creating lasting customer relationships. Repairs on my home are finally complete and as I was speaking with Howard I told him "I wish I could meet you and shake your hand", and he laughed. He offered me peace of mind when I was not able to be in Virginia. He treated my home as if it were his own, and most importantly he is always professional and courteous. Here is a quick rundown of the repairs involved in this makeover. I call it that because my house was in ruins. So they replaced the entire downstairs flooring, carpet and linoleum. There was extensive sheet rock repair, including 1/3 of the walls around entire circumference of the 1st floor. There was also repair to cabinets, replacement of rotten wood around the front door, joint sealing, and so much more. My home is back to normal and is currently awaiting approval for sale. Cannot thank Howard enough. If anyone is truly serious about having work done on their home then Bronson Contractors, LLC is the company to hire, NO QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!

We hired Bronson Contractors to paint the interior of our house. He returned our call the next day. He gave us a fair estimate on the painting and sheet rock repair. His crew was professional and friendly. Howard made sure the job was done right. We were very satisfied with the finished product. Howard even fixed the kitchen sink for us. I hired Bronson Contractors to paint the exterior of my house and stain all of my decks.The crew went over and beyond the job I initially contacted them to do. Not only did they paint and stain, they also repaired any rotten/deteriorating boards and fixed a broken railing. They were extremely friendly and accommodating and the finished product looks amazing! I would recommend them for any home improvement or painting project that needs done. Extremely satisfied and I'm already planning the next thing I want them to do!

Wow. These guys are great! I found them from looking at the previous reviews on yp and took a chance. I have had in the past a bad experience with local contractors and also an expensive experience with a "name" contractor - wow, these guys did a wonderful job! Quality work, great price, courteous and professional...and quick! I am trying to sell my townhome in a limited amount a time and am super-satisfied with this company. A+

In this day and age, I've found it rare to run across a business that takes its time with customers and truly has a passion for the business. I was very satisfied with this company. The owner and the employers were very nice people. I hired them for a painting job but the also fixed some things around the house that needed to be done. I would recommend them to anyone.
