They eat organic fibers and products in and around your home or business. The carpet beetle has been known to spread diseases like anthrax. There are black carpet beetles and furniture carpet beetles.
Hornets
Hornet: Hornets are the largest of the stinging bee family in the northeast, and look much like their relatives the yellow jacket. Hornets can reach up to 5.5 cm in length with a painful sting as well.
Yellow Jackets
Yellow Jacket: Yellow Jackets are stinging bees that can bite multiple times because they don't lose their stinger after they bite someone. Yellow Jackets are also considered a type of ground bee because they like to burrow nests in the ground.

Pill Bugs
Pill bugs get their name because they roll up and look like little pills when they are scared.
Bats squeeze through openings as small as 1/4 of an inch and can enter through varios gaps in a roofline. They are mostly silent visitors and usually get noticed flying in and out of your home. Bats leave smelly droppings that can turn into large piles.


Raccoons
Next on our list of unwanted guests are raccoons. Raccoons are climbing experts and have a knack at ripping open screens and shingles so they can squeeze through gaps they create. Raccoon droppings are similar to those of a cat or small dogs. If you notice ducts or insulation torn apart it could be a sign that raccoons are around.

Rats
Burrows – Rats like to dig burrows, so if you see a path towards a burrow this might mean there are rats there.
