I called bi-state to come out to my home and repair a plug that went out, they were prompt and reasonable on their price, even gave me a free inspection to make sure I was safe in my home. I would recommend to anyone. Very good guys

Overall
Charter Electrical Contractors...

Charter Electrical Contractors in Olive Branch MS (Bi-state Electrical in O'Fallon, MO was on our billing statement) was contracted by Sunlighten Sauna to repair our sauna under warranty. We were told by Sunlighten to expect a call from an electrician. When the call did not come, we called him. The company set up an appointment, then called back and asked if we would pay at the time of service and allow Sunlighten to reimburse. I called Sunlighten and was told the order they sent was for up to $200, but the bill really shouldn't exceed $150 because it was a simple repair. We had 3 people in the room at the time of repair when the technician showed up at 10 am. It was surprising when the technician was clueless on how to do the simple repair and we had to contact Sunlighten for this expert to obtain instruction. He had to leave an go buy a part, but finally at 12:48 we overheard him call and report "4 hours". All of us looked at the clock. We asked what we owed, but was told his supervisor would call the next day...he did and surprised us with a charge over $500. I told him that I would not pay that and that it exceeded the order given to him. Finally I agreed to $325 and gave him a fax to fax the bill so that we could get reimbursed. We called several times for a copy of the bill with no response. A charge came through for more than we agreed and now after 2 weeks...he has charged our debit card a second time without our authorization. This is clearly fraud. While on the phone he stated that "electricians charge $65 - $85 an hour. We have an electrician that put in an entire junction box and 3 220 outlets for $800. We would have hired him, had we known the tech that was being sent had no prior experience with this type of sauna. We are unhappy that we are gouged for his learning curve and that the charge of $325 is well above the absorbadant price of $85 an hour. At $85 an hour, the cost should be $233 plus $50 "for travel". Now I find this company is trying to defraud me further.
