We, at our home, have decided to part ways with the crooked banks. We are cash and money order only people. We don't even have a savings account any longer.



The sales person came to our house and was very knowledgable about the alarm system. We were actually in the market for an alarm due to the fact that we keep our money in a safe, in our house. Everything went very smoothly until it came to the part of the monitoring fee. We told the sales person that we no longer do business with banks due to their dishonest practices. He said that APX preferes payment by credit, debit or check. We clearly explained that our payment method will be money order or cash. He said that they made exceptions for people like us and we could recieve a bill in the mail. We were supposed to be contacted the next day with an installation time. Well, it is two weeks later and the company doesn't even have the decency to make a simple phone call nor send their sales person to tell us that we could not pay cash or money order. Perhaps APX did us a favor by just completely disregarding us due to us not doing business with banks any longer. If they ignore potential customers like this, how would they treat us if we became customers.

This is not to say the whole company is but as a company they are responsible for their staff and the way they conduct themselves. I was approached by this company at my home and was told my system is no longer functional due to the age & type of system. Told that I was not being protected and may not even be monitored? Who are they to use scare tactics or to tell me that I'm not monitored? Floridians beware of false declarations! These people should be ashamed I am just glad I didn't fall for it and get myself locked into an agreement with a company that doesn't care enough to screen their sales people..
