        I hope this review will encour...

        I hope this review will encourage anyone considering this company for their mold remediation needs to look elsewhere. Dealing with this company was the absolute worst experience I have had in dealing with home improvement/services. I originally contacted AMR in September 2011 after we discovered black mold in our basement following Hurricane Irene. The owner, Kevin Bristol, did a cursory inspection of the area and stated that they could complete the work by the end of that week. After countless missed appointments and reschedulings due to incomplete work, AMR finally completed the project at the end of November. Two days of work took AMR two months (and endless phone calls on my behalf to get them to show up) to complete. Mr. Bristol repeatedly told me that they had "many projects" and visited many homes and this was the reason they couldn't complete the project in a more timely manner. Apparently, AMR needs to take on only as much work as it can handle, rather than taking on more and not completing the work it has already contracted. This company also does not comply with the Maryland code stating that contractors may only request 1/3 of payment due at signing - AMR requires 1/2 down. This business has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau for a reason. Please let my hard lesson learned spare you from the time and trouble of trying to do business with this unprofessional, incompetent group of people.
