A Tri-County Lock

We recently bought a house which was built in 1920. Jay has repaired two locks, as well as changed the locks on all our outside doors. And his prices are very reasonable! I would recommend Tr-County-Lock to everyone!

I needed to have new locks installed in my home lucky for us I called A Tri county Lock. In an age where people don't always show up or finish what they started. You can definitely depend on Jay and his staff. He was there when he said he would be and went above and beyond just putting in the locks! He went through are home to check the sercuity and offered suggestions, he is knowledgeable, professional, kind and very fair in his pricing. Jay, the owner, explained what he was doing as he was doing it. He is very thorough and precise. He made sure every key worked perfectly in each lock. We had multiple locks that needed to be rekeyed. He gave free advise on how to keep house secure. He arrived 3 hours after my call for assistance.Great job....would call him again if have any issues with any type of lock.

Locked myself out of my car, contacted Tri-County Lock, Jay the founder and ring leader was able to make it out after a few hours (on another job). He had professional equipment and was careful not to damage my SAAB. He answered my questions and gave me referrals regarding getting replacement fobs and smart keys cut and even spent a few minutes finding a replacement skeleton key for an old chest that was passed down to me. Very professional, would recommend to others.

I just wanted to write in to say how appreciative I am of the help I received after calling Tri-County. My car had an ignition switch that was starting to go bad, but I was planning to buy a new car, and had not fixed the lock. (I'd gotten quotes saying the repair bill would be over $200.) Finally, the inevitable happened: I couldn't start my car, it was cold and I had an appointment I absolutely had to get to. Even though I was planning to buy a new car within a few days, I was desperate --- I absolutely had to be able to get my car started and would have paid quite a bit of money just to get it on the road. So, I called a locksmith. ... The nice guy who answered the phone at Tri-County advised me the service would cost several hundred dollars and told me that I should just spray my ignition with WD-40. (Why didn't I think of that?!) He told me if I were his daughter, he wouldn't want me dumping money into a car I was getting rid of, but also advised that I call back if the fix didn't work. ... Which it did.

I recently found myself locked out of my new truck - the second pair of keys also inside the truck in my purse. Luckily, I was in my driveway so could go look up a locksmith and call for assistance.

I was lucky enough to call A Tri-County Lock. It was Saturday evening, but that didn't seem to make a difference. Mr. Cheyfitz was there within an hour and quickly unlocked my truck. He had other appointsment to go to, but still took the time to sit with me and talk about options so this wouldn't happen to me again. He also checked my door in the house and gave me some very good advice on safety and "keeping the bad guys out".

I had a major issue with a rental property and needed a locksmith. The problem is it's a Sunday, and I couldn't wait until Monday. I thought service on a Sunday would cost me a fortune...boy was I wrong!

Not only did Jay provide excellent customer service, but he only charged me an additional $20 for the Sunday repair work. In addition to the requested work, he repaired some issues that I didn't even know I had.
