A and J Foundation Repairs

Hired A & J in 5/2017 to repair & raise my foundation. Robert Berry & his brother Preston Stephens do business under several names. Rock solid is just one of the names they use.Hired A & J in 5/2017 to repair & raise my foundation. We signed a contract & Work began but there were many delays & complete stoppages. Total contract was for $35,000. They kept asking for more money as a " workman had absconded with money" & they had no operating capital. Then came the labor problems, one brother left the company & other tales of problems. 8/21/2017, I called about the job & was told by text they had declared bankruptcy. I had with a job only 1/2 done & they have over $30,000. I had piles of dirty all over my yard, holes under my house and critters beginning to come in. A miserable experience, yet if you call they will arrange to meet with you about your foundation. I contacted a lawyer & sued. Berry did not show up in court or respond in any way. I now have a judgement against him. He never filed for bankruptcy or tried to make this right in any way. Just a foundation scam run by a very unscrupulous man

Robert Berry and his associates are very dishonest and do very shoddy work.They refuse to take responsibility for the poor work they do! I would suggest, toany and all people who read this, not to hire this company. Very very dishonest!

My name is Robert Berry. I am the owner of A & J. I have been unaware of any dissatisfied customers until today. I haven't had any complaints either by telephone or in writing. I wish the person who wrote this comment would contact my office to resolve any issues he or she may have.
