With a 100,000-square-foot enclosed structure and a 9-acre boatyard, Knight & Carver s full-service repair facility features a 330-ton Travelift. Knight & Carver has built more than 100 composite vessels, all based on custom specifications. In addition, the company s shipyard serves as a facility for the construction and repair of wind-turbine blades, utilized worldwide for cost-efficient energy production. In 2002 and 2003, Knight & Carver was named one of the nation s top 100 inner-city businesses by Inc magazine and Harvard Business School. Knight & Carver employs nearly 175 people in National City, Calif.
