Dental Sealants
Dental Sealants are thin plastic coatings that are applied to the biting surfaces of the back teeth to protect them from tooth decay. Most tooth decay in children and teens occurs on these surfaces. Sealants protect the chewing surfaces from tooth decay by keeping germs and food particles out of these grooves.
Space Maintainers
Crowns both protect and strengthen the remaining tooth structure. It can improve your smile, speech and ability to appropriately chew food, while also acting as a space maintainer, to prevent your other teeth from shifting.

Fillings
Fillings are done as a treatment for a Cavity, a pre-existing broken filling, a Cosmetic replacement for a blackened silver amalgam filling, or as a replacement for old worn fillings.
Resin Composite
Once decay forms, it must be removed to prevent loss of more tooth structure. Decay is discovered by a trained professional with diagnostic tools such as Diagodent, during an examination. However, decay that occurs between teeth or below the gumline, most often is discovered by an X-Ray. Dr. Sunners most often removes the decay and restores the tooth with a Composite Resin that is applied in layers and hardened by a curing light. These Fillings are natural-looking and very durable. Food can be consumed immediately after the filling is complete.
Veneers
Our Digital Crowns use state-of-the-art Digital Technology to create computerized optical digital impressions instead of using impression trays and compounds. This technique is excellent for patients who tend to gag. Patients with gagging problems love this method. The end results can produce Crowns, Inlays, Veneers, Onlays, and Bridges in a wide range of materials like: All-Ceramic, Gold, and Porcelain-On-Metal. Digital Dentistry has demonstrably changed the face of Dentistry. Crowns
A Crown is a Prosthetic Tooth Replacement. A commonly used lay term for Crown, is “Cap.” When there is not enough tooth structure to support a Filling, often a Crown is recommended. Frequently this is due to severe decay, a cracked tooth and/or a failing old filling. Crowns are also a wonderful aesthetic option for a severely discolored tooth.
Bridges
A Fixed Bridge is a wonderful way to replace missing teeth using your existing teeth, wherever possible, by filling in the space from which your tooth or teeth are missing. It can improve your smile, speech and ability to appropriately chew food, while also acting as a Space Maintainer, to prevent your other teeth from shifting.
Dental Bonding
Tooth Bonding is the process in which a tooth-colored filling material, called Composite Resin, is used to restore a damaged or discolored tooth. The moldable material is hardened by the use of the curing light, which renders the material to it’s maximum strength upon contact with the light. Bonding can be used to cover flaws in teeth like discoloration, minor tooth gaps, chips, slightly crooked teeth or restoring decayed teeth, to name just a few of it’s uses. Dr. Sunners will apply the appropriate Bonding material so he can contour your tooth in the correct shade, to provide you with a satisfactory result. Depending on your bite and how well you care for your teeth, Composite Resin Fillings should last for up to 10 years.

Dentures
Dr. Sunners uses Valplast as his choice of a thermoplastic (non-metalic) Removable Flexible Partial Denture. Each removable Valplast appliance is biocompatible and has unique physical and esthetic properties. Valplast Partial Denture flawlessly blends with the patient’s natural tissue and surrounding dentition. Patients love the lifelike esthetics of Valplast, and appreciate the resulting newfound confidence. The Valplast process provides ideal adaptation to both hard and soft tissue. It is flexible and allows restorations to adjust with the contours of the mouth. It is stain resistant, durable, and comfortable in the mouth. These flexible partials contain no metal or wire clasps. This material is virtually impossible to break, unlike conventional Denture Material. This along with the natural hue of the appliance allows it to blend with the surrounding gums and teeth to ensure your confidence.*

Dental Implants
A Dental Implant is a small titanium screw that replaces the root portion of a missing tooth. Due to the compatible properties of titanium, a Dental Implant can fuse with the bone to become an anchor for the replacement tooth or teeth in either jaw.

Professional Dental Whitening, works with Dental Whitening Gels that are stronger than over-the-counter store-bought systems. We utilize a Tray Whitening System. This Tray System is completed in 2 stages. A custom reusable Whitening Tray is made from an impression of your teeth. We will then supply you with a professionally strong Whitening Gel that you will put in the trays for a short period of time, usually a few days. The results can be 4 to 8 shades lighter!
