I also got taken by Aaron. I saw an add on Craigslist for a "Like new" AC system off "His" personal house cause he remodeled his house. Price was $500. The unit was a 2008 model. He would also install it for $400. He used to same story needed an advance to get wire and other materials. Fine. Make a long story short, I got a bill for $1800, got a massive hole in the side of my shop. The unit was propped up on a piece of fire wood and electrical lines were hung like spaghetti. Terrible job!!!!! The unit was rusty and filthy. I opened it up and took the ID numbers off it, Then called a reputable AC dealer. It is a 1993 unit. The man is a total dirtbag. I will have to re do everything he installed. When I confronted him on these issues he said they would be fixed. ****SURE**** No returned calls. Never showed up. Used the I'm out of town excuse. Don't trust him with anything!!!!

Aaron hughes contacted me on sept 12,2012 because we needed some central heat & air units installed.He was referred by his brother.He came to our location and told us what he thought was needed and gave us a price and said he could save us some money.The price he said would be about 7200.00.I explained that other professional compianes had given us similiar prices.He then told us he could purchase some unused units that had been installed on a new house,but never used because the house was foreclosed on,or in bankruptcy,was his story.So with these two,supposedly new unused units he purchased from Mikes ac co. in Gallatin TN.615-887-3486 he could cut the price to about 5000.00 and could maybe save us a little more.Then he explained i don't have the money to purchase the materials,so that if i paid for the materials he would just charge me 900.00 for the labor and not mark up the materials since i was paying for them.Then he told me he needed 1200.00 to pick up the "new" units which i gave him.He returned with two old used units dated from FEB 2008 and i later found out that he had marked up the price and that was why he needed cash to pay for them and would not give me a reciept from the company he had purchased them from.I had spoken to the company he had purchased them from and they confirmed that he had not paid 1200.00 but less for them i found out later.He also kept other reciepts that belonged to us perhaps to cover up materials purchased for other jobs on my acct.So then came the installation i left to return to work after i had delvired material for them.He was on the job for about a day and a half and called me and said he had to leave for the weekend because he had to visit his ex wife and child in Detriot and needed money for a plane ticket and wanted a 900.00 advance on the job.So i felt sorry for him i gave him 600.00 cash advance on friday and he told me he would be back on the next Monday to finish the job.One week passed with no word from him he would not answer his phone,he later told me he had been arrested and was in jail for that week. So i went to see what work he had completed.I could not beleive what i was looking at,we had just remodeled this building and they had cut jagged holes everywhere in the drywall and the duct work eas not sealed properly in the joints and was pinched preventing proper air flow,the vents were installed crooked and in the wrong direction.The wiring was incomplete and sloppy.This was the most unprofessional looking installation i have ever seen, and i have owned lots of properties and paid for several units to be installed.So i called an experienced local professional havc guy to grt his opinion.He stated that the "idiots" i had hired had made numerious mistakes,#1 the electrial would not pass codes #2 the units were too large for this application and would cause problems(static air pressure,noise ect)#3 vents installed improperly (direction and crooked)#4 lines were not sealded to prevent contamation,and several other problems that he had stated.So after speaking with the professional,i told Hughes not to come back and that i wanted him to refund my money,since what he had done was wrong andhas to be redone and also pay for the damage he had caused.So i am left with equiptment and used units that i spent over 3500.00 that is not suited to our building,damaged ceilings that have to be repaired,and i still have to pay someone to come out and do the job correctly.Hughes has done nothing to remedy the situation.Peopple like Hughes should not be allowed to operate anywhere and take advantage of people again!!!Hopefuly this letter will help someone else AVIOD him!
