I'm a person who don't leave bad reviews online since I always try to fix things with a manager or supervisor but this particular establishment deserves my first bad online review.

On May 23rd a group of friends and my family went to have dinner. We were greeted and shown the way to our table. While we were waiting for the drinks we had ordered, a cockroach started to climb my wife's leg. The waiter showed up with the drinks and once we told him what was going on he simply turned his back and left.

After discussing with our group whether we stayed or not, we thought it might be an isolated case since we had been there before and didn't have any issue.

Later I went to the bathroom and saw a dead cockroach on the bathroom hallway.

On our way out we decided to ask for the manager and unfortunately that person should be ashamed of calling himself the manager, what a rude, unhelpful, sad, unprofessional human being. Not only he acknowledged of the sanitary problem when I mentioned the issue, he simply said I heard about what happened and that I should do what I had to do.

To top things up, the waiter charged my card twice, so now I have to open a charge back case with the bank.

I also went ahead and submitted a complaint with the local department of sanitation.

This is the best Japanese steak house in the Naples or Sarasota area! The courses are all excellent with a soup and salad to start and shrimp and veggies as an appetizer. The quality and taste of the food beats any of the steak houses I've eaten at in the area. It is just delicious and all the other places I've tried are a disappointment in comparison.
