Kitchen Remodeling
Finally designing for himself, a local and world-renown architect’s whole home remodel was adorned by designs from Martin and Amber. Leaning on Martin for custom cabinetry throughout the home, and Amber for a majority of the finishes inside and out, this homeowner created a truly unique and personal home to enjoy for decades.
Bathroom Remodeling
Nestled in the hills of Alta Heights, this Napa home needed some updating and customizing to our clients’ taste. Looking for a blend of Cape Cod style and Napa Valley casual luxury, Amber and Paige delivered a design which encapsulated just that. Going beyond the hard finishes of the kitchen and bathrooms, Amber and Paige also worked alongside a local seamstress to curate numerous custom window treatments and other soft goods. Sporting traditional designs in a modern way, this partial-home remodel turned out to be that of our clients’ dreams. A perfectly suited nest in the valley hill.
Flooring
This attic turned master bathroom and walk-in closet has traditional aspects to match the castle like home mixed with mid-century touches to match the homeowners style. Beautiful calacatta 12" x 24" tiles wrap the wet room walls. A custom calacatta inset in a flower shape set with glitter gold grout is a true show stopper. Black matte hexagon 8" x 8" tiles on the flooring throughout and Newport Brass Satin Gold fixtures bring this master bath to its utmost elegance. Gold round mirrors and matte black light fixtures make the mid-century custom Crystal vanity and wall shine all on it's own. Bathing either in the massive spa tub or taking a shower with a frameless glass surround makes this space larger than life. California Closet cabinets in the walk-in master closet finishes this new space to perfection.

Martin has been with NV Design since 2016. Martin began his life and career in Yorkshire England (the good part). There, he received his technical finishing training in carpentry and cabinet making from Rotherham Technical College before coming to America. Martin brings over 30 years of construction, construction management, sales, and design experience. He currently resides on a working family cattle ranch here in the Napa Valley with his wife and twin daughters.
