Pet Stop

I went in with my 2 year old today as a treat to see the animals and started to talk to one of the groomers. She was very nice and said my daughter was beautiful and then she found out that I'm a "teen mom". She then went on and on how "I'm a teen mom." and "Mommy and baby have to grow up together." and looked at me oh so scornful.

This was rude and completely uncalled for. She is not my mother and I have moved past that point in my life. I am aware I made poor decisions. egads im a young parent?!? Who knew?!

I will be happy to say I will never recommend anyone to go there. You lost a customer.

I called to see if she would take my kittens and not only did she decline them because their on "bad food" (not everyone can afford expensive food) but she was incredibly rude from the get go! Never ever dealt with someone so rude.

My daughters pet passed away and so we were looking for a new animal to bring into our family. I called The Pet Stop to ask a couple of questions and the staff were acting like i was putting them out. They seemed totally annoyed to answer my questions and i felt rushed to hang up. I forgot to ask another question so i hesitantly called back, a different staff member answered this time, and was just as rude. As much as I want to go see what sweet little animals they have, i really don't want to give that business my money.

I've known the owner and groomer in this shop for pretty close to 20 years now. They were the only pet shop in the area BEFORE all the big stores came in and they have hung in there competing with them by providing excellent customer service and a willingness to track down and get you WHATEVER you want for your pets.



The puppies they offer for sale are ONLY from local breeders and come with health guarantees and are current on all vaccines and preventative health measures (worming, etc.) The only kittens I've seen there have all come from "oops" breedings from local people (last stop before the pound) and are offered at a nominal fee after providing vaccines and making sure they are healthy.



They provide service and quality diets for ALL pets, including cats, dogs, birds, rodents and reptiles. If you want it, they will get it for you.



The only odor in this store is very mild and sadly unavoidable due to the fact that they have crickets and mice..... those are STINKY and any lingering odor is mild.



I have never walked in this shop and found ANY animals lacking for fresh food or water and caging is kept clean.

I don't like this pet store! They were very rude to me! Bad Service! Smells Horrible!

This store sold me my rat terrier. They were patient and let me ask a million questions. Thye really care about who buys the dogs and follow up on you after the sale.
