        All American Success Story Ken Smith Auto Parts was founded in the mid 1950's in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The original staff consisted of founder Ken Smith, salesman Charlie Kornas, and a secretary now only remembered as "boots". The original store, located on Vine Street, began as an AC Delco distributor. In those early days, the founding staff would drive through a six state territory calling on customers, writing orders, and delivering parts from the trunks of their cars. The company has come a long way since then, when the order of a part could take up to three weeks to deliver. Thanks to Ken, his son Richard, and now his grandson Raun, a family tradition of dedication and support has grown through the decades. Since those early days, Ken Smith Auto Parts has expanded to 10 locations throughout the Southeast, five in Tennessee, four in Georgia, and one in Alabama, providing over 20 lines of quality automotive parts to their customers. Our commitment to excellence in customer service addresses our patrons concerns and has led to multiple deliveries daily within targeted markets and expanded service to outlying areas. After the many changes in distributor criteria from major manufacturers, it has become increasingly difficult to find a company that can serve your needs. Ken Smith Auto Parts, who has been a supplier of quality parts for over 50 years, has established that reputation and proven its resiliency through changing times.         We moved to Murfreesboro and my battery went out not only did they sell me a battery they brought it to me at the Hyatt place where we were staying. Great people at the Murfreesboro store also!
