Cedar Creek Marina

We had a group of 13 that arrived by boat. We waited almost 2 hours for food. Yes 2 hours from the time we ordered from the window. Someone suggested to the owner, to hire a wait staff. His comment, "When you have six million dollars you can run it the way you want" Ouch! What a great way to talk to your customers. The marina was busy but not extremely busy, we found several tables to accomatate the large group. There were several people demanding their money back for the 2 hour wait for food. The staff's comment "it's not fast food". Wow, we've been eating at Cedar Creek for years. The new owners have some customer service to learn. After this review spreads, they might not be as busy and the wait not as long. We are cool with spending our money elsewhere "Mr. Six Million Dollars".

The server disappeared after we said we needed more time, and we finally had to try to locate someone to find her. She finally came back pen and paper in hand to take our order, but then we had to wait a long time in the hot sun for our drinks to arrive! Before our food even got there, we decided to have a word with the owner, Vern. Vern, was unsympathetic towards or appeared so when we told him that the waitress had been so slow and lousy with her service. After speaking with him, I realized that the problem is as much with management and with the ownership of the place as it is with the staff, and I will not be back again at Fishtales or subject my friends to mediocre food and terrible service!

Well, I ordered a burger and queso and found human hair in my queso dip! The service was slow and the girl barely came by to check on us, and even when I asked for her to bring my queso dip in advance as an apetizer, it came with my burger. When the burger came, it was both burnt and tasteless. I will not be going back again!
