Speedee is the best mechanic Shop in mt.pleasant. Everytime I’ve gone there compared to any other place around they have just gone the extra mile. I highly recommend speedee and wouldn’t go to another place to get a repair there fast and efficient. The people who work there are even better they take care of you and crack jokes while there at it 10/10 recommended definitely wouldn’t be a mistake going there

Overall
They can break your car!

When SpeeDee guy perform routine oil change on my 1996 Dodge Grant Caravan he overturn oil plug the strip thread on the oil pan and put temporally plug instead. When I ask the manager if they can fix it up for me they told me that it is OK if I will run with temporally plug as long as it's not leaking and she offer me a deal that I will get 50% discount every time when I will comeback to them for oil change. After that I got oil change twice and SpeeDee charge me 50% only as their are promised. In 3-rd time then I come back for oil change SpeeDee owner was there and she told me that I have to pay 100% for the service. When I remind her about broken oil pan and temporally plug she reply me that it's normally happens when car drove around 240,000 mile (80 oil changes!) and she is not going to fix my oil pan. I told her that in my Dodge engine was recently replaced and the engine original mileage is 120,000 not 240,000! She replies that even someone replace my engine he did not replace the bottom of the engine or oil pan and 120,000 excuse will be not applied in my case. After that I went to the car shop in Savannah highway where the engine was replaced and got all supporting papers showing that entire engine along with oil pan was replaced. Also I went to Dodge dealership and ask the service manager if the oil pan threads will strip when I will get oil change often? Service manager told me that it will never happen on V6 Dodge because in my model oil pan made out of metal not aluminum and added that SpeeDee guy probably turn oil plug with excessive force and if they would do it gently it may last for forever. After that I came back to SpeeDee and tell them the story. Finally they agreed to fix my oil pan and put regular plug but I spend all day running between SpeeDee, car shop where I got new engine and Dodge dealership. Please be aware of that guys and make sure that you oil pan thread is not stripped and someone did not install in your car temporally plug. Next time I will find another shop for oil change. Thanks. Beck.
