Mike's Appliances Cooling & Heating

I replied to a post about appliances available in Mt Jackson Va. I called Craig and inquired about needing a stove, frig, microwave and washer / dryer set. The nice young man (Craig) gave me a price for the whole lot and preceded to tell me that everything would be top of the line newer models and have been checked by a certified technician. I explained to him that I needed all appliances hooked up and ready to go, he agreed that he would deliver freshly cleaned appliances and hook up.."No problem Ma'am " were his words. So what I have as the result of doing business with Craig, from Mt Jackson Va is an over the stove microwave that was not installed, (sitting on the counter) a dryer that was full of dog hair (fire hazard)..btw he did clean it out while at my house. A stove that has no power cord on it. This morning I called Craig, from Mt Jackson and asked him about not hooking up the stove..microwave ect..He began to give me a list of excuses about why he did not finish installing as agreed. Then he made it clear to me that he did not like my attitude and hung up on me. You guys can do what you want..but I'll never do business with Craig, from Mt Jackson again. He also told me to go to lowes and get my own cord..LOL..really? One more thing..the freshly cleaned frig was dirty inside and theres no way to check to see if my stove works because it has no power cord !!??!!

Furthermore.. After I posted a complaint on Craig's list , (where I found his add, by the way) He replied to the complaint calling my husband a liar . Apparently this guy works for Mike's Heating and Cooling in Mt Jackson Va. I wonder if Mike knows anything about what this guy is doing????? Feel free to call and ask ..540-477-3319

Beware of Mikes Appliance, Mike Coatsolonia, Mt Jackson VA. I paid $472.00 for a nice looking, used Whirlpool refrigerator that did not work. When asked to repair it in my home, I was told "we don't do that". When I asked for a refund "we don't do that".

After moving the refrigerator into the house, I discovered it did not freeze or cool well. Thursday Oct 4, I called to be told Mike would be out until Monday. On Monday, out till Tuesday. On Tuesday 10:30, Mike would call when he got in. At 1:30, he was out to lunch. At 2:30, he was walking the dog. At 4:30, he was gone. These of course were the calls they answered.

After emailing Mikes Appliance we would be going to court, I received an email several days later stating they would not come to my home for a service call (they refuse to service in an area they advertise in) and that I had purchased a broken refrigerator “AS IS”. (They claim to have a 45 day warranty on the web-site) But they would be “happy” to repair it if I brought it back to the shop.

I have no faith in their “master technician” to repair a refrigerator or a broken relationship with a customer. I returned the very large side by side at my expense and kindly asked for a refund of the $472 I paid. Refused. I feel insulted and disappointed that anyone would just “take” hard earned money, use well learned evasive tactics and feel no obligation towards the product they sell.

You still want that appliance from Mikes? Get a written refund agreement. Buyer beware.
