I don't even want to give them 1 star. This company bought out my building, I put in my notice after 1 month of them owning it. They never got anything done. Called about mold in the bathroom in the walls and under my sink. They never fixed it. Now mind you my son has asthma and it became worse. They told me they fix it AFTER I moved out. Not right if you ask me. They never plowed the parking lot. I called about this 3 different times. They'd always tell me someone would be on their way later that day, they never showed. Now when I had my check out the guy was so rude! I was told from the previous owner that they would switch the carpet after I moved so I wouldn't have to clean it. Got told by RKAK they needed to be cleaned. Now mind you these carpers have been in this apartment through 3 people. I lived there for 3 years, person prior to me lived there 1 and the people before them (which I'm friends with) lived there for 3. Now I'm getting charged for this which is completely BS. This company Is so crappy. Please no one rent at the Country Club Pkwy apartment building. They will screw you over and never fix anything!

Gotta say thanks to the maintenance guy working through the Christmas rain, ice and snow storm. It was evident that I wasn't his only emergency call when my thermostat went out and not gonna be his last, but he fixed my heat without complaint. I told him that I didnt go home for Christmas due to weather and had been trying to get my garage door open that froze w/accumulated ice and snow. Not only did he help with the door but deiced my frozen car doors as well. Didn't have much of a Christmas but because of the maintenance guy working I was unthawed and warm. Thanks

Been renting from RKAK for a couple years now and don't have a single negative thing to say about them. Quick snow removal in the winter. Maintenance is quick and very friendly. The Office staff are friendly and always willing to help.

My husband loves the closet space he has to himself haha! Im so happy with our new place extremely spacious. and the kiddos are settling in just great. Thank you for being so kind and so helpful with this transition that we had to make to move. The lease term and the incentive helped us out in so many ways. thank you RKAK!!!!!!!

I rented from them for 9 months now. Maintenance gets done on time and they waived my late fee. Can't complaint.

The office people are really rude. Never expected that even we pay rent we have to experience such rude behavior. The office lady just made my day bad!

I wish I could give zero stars. RKAK is an absolute nightmare. NEVER rent from them, literally anywhere else would be better.



My apartment had numerous issues when my move in day arrived that were not there when I visited. I asked numerous times for things to be fixed and it never happened. They didn't get fixed for 7 months when one of the maintenance people was in our parking lot and I begged him to fix things. He did a fine job, but more issues continued. I found out that my neighbor passed her background check even though she was evicted from her last apartment for choking her roommate. I had a garage, but the door froze shut and was not fixed all winter, making it not usable. Also, the locks to the building broke and were never fixed so the building was not secure. My apartment got bed bugs and I could not get in contact with anyone from RKAK for weeks and then I was responsible for working with the pest control person to get treatments scheduled that I had to be present for during the day during the work week. They sprayed my apartment, which did not get rid of the bed bugs and they never treated any other apartments. So I'm sure the building still has them.



I ended up moving out before my lease ended for my own sanity. They waived the re-rental fees, the absolute least they could do. I paid out the remainder of my lease. They then charged for carpet cleaning and cleaning fees, although there was no way they had cleaned before I moved in or before the next people did. In the end I was out over 2,000 dollars because of their lack of upkeep and communication. I contacted them about not receiving my security deposit within 30 days (explicitly against the law) or an itemized list of what they claimed to clean, and have yet to hear from them after over 2 months.

Not the best, not the worst. They're very friendly and nice, but keep in mind they are very cheap and will always try to find the cheapest way to do something. This causes many many issues, so bottom line, rent with them if it is a good deal.



Pros:

- Rent is usually reasonable

- They will give the deposit back if you followed their instructions to the letter



Cons:

- Consider all they say is a sales pitch and likely to be false or just borderline true. Wireless internet was pathetic, construction deadlines were never fulfilled and so on. Trust what you see, and ASK NEIGHBORS! They will give you a true opinion of the place.

- Place will be built cheaply. They look nice, but looks can be deceiving. We had many maintenance calls, and while the EMERGENCY ones were fulfilled on a very reasonable time, anything not on that category was...very delayed. VERY. Also, expect an increase on electricity bills due to cheap insulation (our bill was 4x more than our most expensive one ever. No joke, FOUR times).

- You will run into issues. Something will break down or malfunction. Be prepared.

- They seem disorganized, so every now and again they will either show up unannounced or something of the sort. While I'm reasonably sure this is illegal in ND, it never bothered me enough that I wanted to go to court with it. BUT, if it's an issue for you, I'd say be prepared for that. It's not frequent, but it did happen more than once.

Sigh..It's true. They aren't very good.

My fiancé and I signed a lease for September 1st. However, when we called to see if we could move in a couple days earlier since it was vacant, we could not because they weren't done cleaning and fixing up the place. WELL. we applied to this apartment a month beforehand practically, why weren't they done? And aside from that, they did not inform me they wouldn't be available AT ALL on the 1st day of our lease because of Labor Day. Other apartment companies make appointments on holidays if they are on a 1st of the month. They breached our lease contract and we had to stay at a hotel because no one was there to give us the keys (it takes 5 minutes guys.) AND THEN. when we got checked in today, the guy meeting with us ran late and had to go instantly. He didn't take the time for us and still needed the whole rent in total, no prorate even though we didn't get in right away!

The employees are unimpressive, they don't take this seriously. I gave two stars because I actually don't mind the layout and place I live but this management is in the way of me and my fiancé enjoying it. Sadly it's a 12 month lease but...It's not going to be renewed after that let me tell you.

The worst management company ever like others said below. I was supposed to move to the apartment on the first day of month, however they changed the date because they did not finish clean and I did not have a house to stay while they are done with cleaning which is the middle of the month. So I had to stay at a hotel for a few weeks. After I move to the apartment, I found tons of dead roaches and the room was horrible. I've never seen such a dirty place in my life. They said they've done professional sprayed for the roaches however I saw tons of them for 3 months and I had killed over 30 roaches every day. THAT WAS TERRIBLE AND GROSS. When I moved out from the apartment, I cleaned it much much better than before I moved in and they still charged me more than my deposit. Also, they never give me a copy after working through the apartment.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM EVER.

This is THE WORST management company EVER! DO NOT rent from them. The staff is not good and they could care less about their tenants and properties. I have to beg them to fix things and plow the sidewalks or parking lots. When I ask them to fix something, they always put up a fuss about it and are too cheap to actually fix anything. The staff is also rude and says they will get on top of said tenants problem and fix it right away, which is a lie. I have a 12 month lease and I will be switching to a different management company who actually care about their tenants and takes pride in their properties.

I have rented with RKAK for about 7 months now and it has been a disaster. The house we live in was actually collapsing in the kitchen and the bathroom. There is mold in almost every room of the house and I am now getting an inspector because of the migraines I have been getting from living there. The maintenance men that come over just randomly show up without giving you a notice and will be in your house without anyone there. They leave the doors unlocked when they leave so it is obvious someone with a key has been there. Their employees are poor and their ability to manage properties is lacking professionalism and common decency.
